Funniest part is that they think Void elves need a process to be Void Elves, they can just be High/Blood Elves that control the Void like any other race in this game controls a type of magic.
Void Elves we’re added to the game with High elf and Blood elf NPCs in their rift, regular skin tones was always the way they were going to go.
But nah, they’re going to have Void shoved into them cause the antis are sad the Alliance is getting the High Elf aesthetic they already had in their campaigns in multiple expansions.
Can you link me this? I don’t think I came accross such a silly thing. All void lore points the need to consume something to either remain in existence or to be summoned.
Back at ya it’s always nice when people argue in good faith, it’s always evident which side continuously does that, and I’m happy to get along with everyone who makes these threads pleasant and honest.
Meet us deep in the Shadowguard camp ahead- my brethren are preparing a summons that will provide adequate energy for Windrunner to begin again.
The Void Ethereals summoned Nhal’athoth which the player weakens and Alleria defeats/absorbs.
If they can summon such powerful void beings as Nhal’athoth, then it stands to reason so can Locus Walker with the help of Alleria, Umbric, and the other Void Elves.
I agree 100%, unfortunately it rarely happens from that side, which is sad but it’s true and it’s been seen so many times that it’s well known that it’s not accidental anymore.
What kind of being, though. The wording it’s completely nebulous. Are you theorizing Locus walker can easily summon a voided Naaru out of thin air?
Despite the fact that Danuser said specifically that they are not recruiting?
It was Danuser saying this in an interview.
"But it’s natural as other elves have found out about them — elves who are interested in new sources of magic, power, or opportunities — would see if they could undergo a similar process. They’re not … recruiting, necessarily, but they’re open to those who show a similar interest.”
See, the only one unwilling to understand things here it’s you. You keep asking as if they can pull a dead naaru out of a magical pocket on their tummy.
Awww, the antagonist are sad they’re getting called out for being antagonist.
What a weird, backwards world that discord must be, where they think its ok to put down player requests purely out of their feelings and believe that to be just and right.
As long as people aren’t going into things expecting support, but expecting debate it’s all good, even if we disagree, I always feel secure enough in my stances to not feel threatened by what other peoples opinions represent.
That need to imply that he already existed in reality to be summoned in that fashion. And if you read what the shadowguard got their hands on in colderra, they had the resources to do that, if not they used the box to.
Note: I’m a masochist. I decided to see what you said regardless of my original choice to ignore you.
Not arguing that. Never have, never will, never meant to.
We agree that these are different paths.
My argument was that future Void Elves are more likely to follow Alleria’s path than attempt to reproduce a ritual that was interfered with. There’s no way of knowing how to reproduce that effect to begin with. Only Alleria’s path is actually repeatable.
New, void style, customizations make absolute perfect sense and I’m not here to say they shouldn’t happen. I 100% support more tentacles, more dark purply skin tones, glowy void tattoos, and so on.
The commonality of powerful void entities is, actually, completely unknown. I don’t think it’s fair to say that they’re rare, or that they’re common. As far as we can tell the Void and the Light seem to be near limitless, almost infinite, in their scope. At best we can say that it’s probably difficult to find, harness, and consume, powerful void things. Not because they’re rare, but because they’re powerful.
No ma’am, you were called out for defending, 2 people who enter threads to antagonize players and put down their ideas for customization because they don’t like that direction, when in reality there’s multiple directions.
I’m still waiting for you to explain that from your end, seems real morally gray .
I’ll take the answer: “I’m just pro-horde and support whatever side doesn’t benefit Alliance players”.
Some people can’t help but act in bad faith because they so desperately wish we were because it’d be easier to paint us badly, so the attempts to paint us badly normally amount to hollow accusations because there’s no truth to it other than our opposition makes them mad
No. I am saying that a Dark Naaru isn’t necessarily required at all
L’ura, a source of tremendous void energy, just happened to be at hand and so Locus Walker took advantage of her presence to speed Alleria along with her training. From the quest text, it seems like specific void beings aren’t what’s needed. Just sufficient void energy.
Meet us deep in the Shadowguard camp ahead- my brethren are preparing a summons that will provide adequate energy for Windrunner to begin again.
We don’t have enough information to say either way.
Easy they are two of my best friends and I don’t feel that they are doing anything wrong by expressing their thoughts and opinions vs anyone else in these threads, you might just because you and the other people like you don’t seem to think anyone should be different from you or think differently than you but I’m far more progressive.
Says a lot that you think its defensible for antis to antagonize players in a thread because they don’t like regular customization ideas.
The actual answer is :Oh yes, regular customization isn’t really my thing but i support your ideas for them, I hope you also support mine for reasonable Void customization.
