More void based options for Void Elves is customization, I know that’s a hard concept to grasp but please try because as I already said your ignorance is not bliss.
And people who want to preserve the one thing that’s unique about a race still vs another is personal choice, I don’t care either way which I have stated in many other threads but you as I already said as well have no right to try and say someone else is invading, trolling, derailing, whatever you call it a thread because you disagree with what they say or think.
As someone that stays neutral on this topic usually, it comes from both sides so stop acting like it’s one sided, you are literally complaining about the other side and you have in other threads simply because you don’t like what they have to say.
I mean really you are part of the problem, yet you complain about the problem.
I think every race should have access to white/black hair, since those are fairly neutral colors, but I’ll admit: I like that Blood Elves are warm toned and Void Elves are cool toned and I’d like that to stick around.
White and Black would help. But Alleria’s our faction leader and we can’t have her hair color. Even if you’re arguing against High Elf customizations, Alleria’s a Void Elf. She’s blonde.
When I can have the actual colors in the exact shades Void Elves have on this character or my other Blood Elves I will agree with you, where it sits currently we have zero shared haircolors or hairstyles.
We barely have any hair color options. I can’t imagine anybody is against giving Blood Elves our three hair colors in their two sort of different shades.
Yeah I love how Forsaken always got to look like their faction leaders there’s a huge precedent for that
Right off the top of my head RP tools don’t exactly mean it gets to be a “Void Elf / High Elf” thread, try Void Elf, there lies the problem turning VEs into what they aren’t.
I mean I hate to be that person but the HE community isn’t really known for good behavior that endears people to their cause, and people opposing your request isn’t “brigading” you its just a difference of opinions, I do know if you are looking for more of an echo chamber type environment to just talk about High Elves they literally have a discord.
If its not a big deal then why are you asking for it to complete your visual theme/fantasy … the one that copies Blood Elves.
The first reply in this thread literally has an example of more Void Elf hair color ideas for the future.
That’s why I think black and white would help. I’d also love to see jewel toned greens or dark, blood Ruby reds. I’m not opposed to more options; I am just a personal advocate of keeping the separation of the two races.
Really because it seems in these threads it’s always to take from Blood Elves not give Blood Elves anything, furthermore as someone that has always supported black and white for Void Elves because it fits the theme I don’t see the issue with people not wanting them to have blonde or red for example.
I see where you’re coming from, but the only reason I disagree is because Blood Elves have technically had to at hair for over a decade. If anything, the blue hair was available for certain Blood Elves before Void Elves were even an idea in an interns notebook.
Besides, every race got access to Death Knight hair colors. And the blues are more “icy” blue whereas the Void Elf tones are “shadow and void”. It still all fits within a theme to me.
Which is why no one spends the time to talk about BEs, what we will do however is frame our dissenting opinions and structure our arguments around how that effects BE players and how you shouldn’t get to have VEs be carbon copy Blood Elves.
See the difference? You can’t really tell people to not voice their opinion but nice try with trying to pull the rug out from peoples arguments by acting like the mention of BEs is off limits when you’re literally stepping on the BE visual theme to get what you want.
