Do you react this way to people advocating for HEs because many of them are on “LITERALLY every single High Elf thread”. The behavior isn’t exactly what I’d say was positive much of the time just because you somehow correlate asking for something as good but other people asking for things in contrast to you as bad.
This isn’t an echo chamber environment, and if your issue as it sounds to be is opposition, that really isn’t anyone else’s issue other than your own, it certainly isn’t Midares problem that you can’t handle opposition. People can’t tell you to stop requesting things and you can’t tell people to not have their own desires that may contrast what you’re requesting, which is basically what you’re doing in a round about way by making an issue of Midares or anyone else’s dissent whether it’s one time or in every thread.

I don’t see what the big deal is denying Void Elves regular hair styles/colors? Especially at this point. Especially since they can just give them Night Elf or Human hair options. Or Kul Tiran even. I’ve never cared for the hair tendrils even for the Void Elf look personally. Besides you could come up with some crazy/wacky options with a mix of normal/void looks. Blonde Hair with some Void Skin/eyes would look cool.
But even for people who just want a regular High Elf look? I don’t see the problem.

It’s because people wants VE to be it’s own thing and not be discount HE, as well as copy too much assets from BE.
Ask for HE in another form!

By their very nature of being birthed from Blood elves, who were birthed from High Elves, Void Elves are never going to be “their own thing”, they’re not called core races for a reason.
Asking for Void elf customization is not asking for High Elves, which is, by the way, the topic of this thread.
You’re letting your anti show.

While this is true, VE had been irreversably transformed due to the ritual that made them what they are now. Also the VE fan base does not want them to be watered down to be simply HE.
Asking for VE to look like HE is not asking for VE customizations, it’s asking them to be what they are not, HE.
Edit: rereading this qoute makes me think of irony. except your on the wrong here, many keeps asking for VE to look like HE, and ignore the fact they are in fact, void elves not high elves.

He did not ask for “Void elves to become High Elves”, he asked for regular hair styles and colors for Void Elves, as did the OP of this thread, you are wrong.
Since you and your ilk, eyes go red when you even see the word elf in the forums, she also asked for reasonable Void customization.
Funny how it can go both ways, yet you and the antis see it fit to put down one side to get what you want, very anti-player, says a lot about your side.

I think it’s sad when it bothers someone so much that people arguing in good faith with civility(a difference of opinions on further HE options) that mud slinging and name calling is all that’s left.
“You and your ilk” ? People who value faction identity? People who don’t want BEs shafted in favor of allowing VEs to fulfill two visual themes? VE fans who don’t want to be pushed aside for more HE options? Or people who just are turned off by the HE community’s behavior? No ones opinion in this needs to be described as “you and your ilk” as if people arguing against you are awful, but that is an issue with how you see opposition opinions I guess.

Oof this is painfully accurate decription.
I feel like it’s the same 5 blood elf fans thread hopping, starting unwarranted confrontations every time someone requests something as basic as a hair color, and then justfying it as disagreeing.
I’m pretty sure everyone on these forums are aware about how much some of you disagree with things… for quite a while now.
It must really suck to be a void elf player right now and have all these people hounding after them over wanting to have brown hair.
