[A] Shy player looking for a home

Hey people…

I have been playing WoW since 2007, in 2018 i lost my guild and since then I’ve been playing but not really engaging much in the game, i log in, do LFR sometimes, get my player to a Normal raid iLvl and quit, the main reason being that i have no friends to play with since all my friends are in mythic raiding guilds and my job doesn’t allow me to dedicate that much time to the game (and i’m honestly not good, and get bored).

I recently brought some of my characters to Moon Guard since everyone talks about the sense of community this realm has, and that’s what I’m looking for.

I’m sort of an altoholic, i play 2 or 3 classes at a time (currently sPriest, demo lock, and bm hunter) but have no problem focusing on a single class if i have a goal to aim for.

I’m looking for a guild that’s ok with mature folks (i’m 41 and married) that i could form a connection with, that i could do low keys with, maybe join an existing raid group sometimes (i work in retail and my work hours are extremely inconsistent, changing every day), but that’s not needed at all. My favorite things are to farm old raids, collect achievements and and generally spend time around other folks having fun.

The second half of that, would be RP. I have a lot of interest in learning to RP. I have some trauma related to that and i know it’d be hard to join. I grew up being made fun of because of video games and my interest in fantasy, so the thought of getting in character literally freezes me with anxiety and makes me feel… ashamed??.. I’d ideally have people that i could discuss RP to help me break down this barrier so that I can enjoy something i always wanted to but always have been afraid to try.

Hi! I read over what you are looking for and our guild The Harlequins is geared more to an older more mature crowd. Our main focus is RPing but we do run old content and sometimes delves and weeklies. We are a welcoming and close knit community with a good RP base. We are based in MG but welcome anyone from any realm. IC wise our theme is a group of people from all backgrounds that want to help the downtrodden of the world. Hey we’re always looking for new friends. Some of us are old. We keep getting older too. I’m not sure why that keeps happening. But anyway, we are kind of “anything goes” we do group activities, M+, delves, normal difficulty raids. But nothing is required. We don’t do RP, so we couldn’t help with that.
