The token, its obvious.
Since there’s [Mode] as well, I think it’s just a UI update but hey, the sky could be falling.

Thats the same shop you had to use to tranfer your character for free if it died in hc, not new.

except updating the UI in fresh is wholly unnecessary since it’s a different client. The last time they updated the UI to the modern GUI style the WoW Token hit Wrath Classic.
Yes I’m learning that it was always there. I just have so little interest in spending rl money on this game that I never really noticed it or gave it much thought.
The fact that it’s in a more prominent spot front and center now might still be saying something though…

You know what I don’t want to happen that happened when the wow token came to wrath classic? Everything became stupidly expensive because people just swiped their credit cards/debit cards to pay for whatever they needed. It turned GDKP’s from being an alternate form of raid progression for pugs and alts to really the only way to do it in any shape or form. The only people who still play the versions of this game that GDKP ruined are the people who have been profiting off of GDKP’s.
I said what problem does it cause that is not already present
edit LOL wrong thread, still valid though prices are already way up from people buying gold from 3rd party sites

Why would they put the new ui in Era, but not Cata? You’d think it would be the other way around.
Probably (hopefully) an unintended bug.

A problem is still a problem whether it’s of Blizzard’s making or it isn’t.
but the wow token actually will reduce bots so it would be an overall gain to the in game experience

Just to clarify - I panicked a bit and dug a bit deeper and the Shop button was always there in classic, just located in the lower left hand corner.
Seeing it now in the middle and top of the screen in such an obvious spot was what fooled me and got me thinking
