I am about to turn 40.
Do I respec and put all my Talent points into Shadow to get Shadowform?
Right now I have Stuff in Wand Specialization and Improved Power Word of Shield.
Also, if I cast a Holy Spell while in Shadowform do I lose Shadowform or does it just forbid me from using the spell?
Also, what is the rotation for Shadowform usually?

It’s possible to level as disc as well. Shadow is probably faster though.
You will lose shadow form if you cast a holy spell, yes.

a typical rotation would be mind blast, pain, vamp, mind flay, mind flay, mind blast, then wand. once i have shadowform i dont typically start fights with shield up. my hc priest is 31 and i will go straight for shadowform at 40. silence is really good to get asap also.
