I just minimize the timer at the start of the dungeon anyway because it takes up valuable screen real-estate and am going to push as fast as possible timer or no timer anyway.
I’m never in a situation where I’m thinking “Oh wow I was going to DPS slow this pack, but the timer is kinda low, better actually try to deal damage!”
Except for this little tiny fact that challenge modes had timers too. The only real difference was challenge modes had a set difficulty and scaled your gear down. Basically it was more akin to a timewalking dungeon than a mythic+ dungeon.
It’s not an opinion. It’s an objective fact that the timer adds a layer of challenge to M+ otherwise we wouldn’t be having this conversation to begin with. Removing the timer = removing a layer of challenge which means they would have to bump up the difficulty to compensate.
The one who needs to get over it is you, who can’t cope with a timer.
in terms of fun in an mmorpg it is 100% objective otherwise wow wouldn’t be as popular as it is putting out literally the same content treadmill for years on end
level up-> get loot-> repeat ->max level- get loot-> repeat-> new raids->get loot → repeat for 20 years
even m+ is the same treadmill → get better loot-> push higher keys- repeat
if you dont like this type of objective fun you probably wont like wow very much
and ur probably gonna argue that isn’t all wow has to offer but that is the main game, take it out and wow wouldnt even be wow anymore
I don’t even know what you are arguing with me about at this point. I am talking about a specific game mode, M+. I said i find it fun and rewarding. Others do not. Opinions about a game mode are subjective to the player.
