It’s popped up three times for me and I decided to read through it, honestly the description is hilarious. It reminds me of some of the supplements I was forced to watch in my classes (see the early product of Microsoft Azure or Microsoft Home from the mid 90s). It leads you on a winding path full of amazing expectations only for you to feel slightly less informed by the end of the presentation. I love it.

Honestly when I wrote it I had no idea what I was doing nor what any of it means, and yeah, you’re right, the more I try to learn, the less I seem to really understand.

Saturday night and I almost forgot to bump the thread, silly gosh darnit oh golly me.

We started playing “Buzzword Bingo” listening in on our quarterly earnings reports. My boss listens intently, then occasionally snorts derisively, “That’s not at all what’s going on. He doesn’t know how this works at all!”

Then me, just trying to make sense of this alphabet soup of buzzwords, nods and says, “Yeah. That’s ridiculous.”

This is also how I get through every conversation about the sports Well enough that, despite my literally telling people, “I don’t watch a the sports,” people still think I’m a fan.

I think you got most, but you could add “market-facing”, “agile”, “pivot”, and “headwinds”/“tailwinds”.

“Agile” is up in there! Albeit it’s crunched up there in one of the hardest to comprehend sentences, tho. =P I’ve had people say that I should include “put it on a pin” and I’m ashamed that I never came across that one.
