I’m really interested to see where this goes.

RP-PvP on this server is desperately needed, and I’d be interested to see how you guys deal with the blasted treaty.

Perhaps making a splinter faction that’s loyal to the wishes of Daelin Proudmoore? You don’t have to pay royalties for that idea. :joy:

Edit: It seems the Discord link has expired.

Discord link updated, thanks for letting me know!

We’re looking at the current armistice as a revert to where the Alliance and Horde were at after the Third War, in the Classic Era. The hearts and minds of the people and the soldiers who fight the wars aren’t always in harmony with the wishes of their leaders. This is particularly true of Kul Tirans who have an entire generation raised on the ideals of Daelin Proudmoore (including many of our hardened Marines) and who JUST SAW all of those lessons reinforced by the unprovoked slaughter at Brennadam.

We do have options for intra-faction conflict by helping all members get the N’zoth toy. We’ve got a group of corrupted tidesages in the leveling treadmill right now who will be part of an upcoming storyline.

Oh, and if you check out our Field Manual… it’s pretty clear that it’s largely based on Daelin’s mindset, and that’s how we continue our bootcamp training (institutional change is slow!) :stuck_out_tongue:

Thank you for the welcome!

First, I want to specify we aren’t looking to force anything on anyone or change the way things operate around here! We’ve as a guild been around since 2004, so we did our research before deciding to move to Moon Guard. We know the community is focused vastly on the D&D style of DM and players using /roll for the story. The work other roleplaying guilds are doing within the community with these campaigns adds so much story to the server. That additional story is one reason we want to be here. We like living in a breathing world when we return from patrolling against threats to Kul Tiras.

We also know a lot of players from former RP-PvP servers such as Maelstrom, Ravenholdt, and Emerald Dream have moved here prior either from the former server dying or harassment by petty non roleplaying factions. Our hope is to give them an option for when they want to do that again without having to worry about the zerg guilds that infested those servers eventually. Some people do enjoy that mechanic of the game and if people have a military rp interest and would like to fight, they’ll have an outlet.

Even though a good number of us that transferred here may not actively participate in D&D campaigns, we have members that do enjoy that style of roleplay. Being on the same server where a lot of that happens makes it easier on our member base. We really appreciate the offer from many to participate in these grand campaigns, it has been a genuinely nice welcome, and I know once we get settled we’ll see some of our people out there in them.

As for the treaty, once you are on a patrol in Alliance or neutral lands to protect Alliance intersts, you’ll always find Horde that will attack and violate the treaty. At that point, any Horde in the area may as well be suspicious and put to rest!

For Kul Tiras and the Kul Tiras Marines! BI:6 provides a home for those of us who are practitioners of darker arts.

First post has been updated with some additional information.

A few people have asked if we are related to some past & present Kul Tiran RP groups - and the answer is No. We understand there are some thematic similarities, but we are completely separate groups. We just moved to Moon Guard in October 2020. See our history at the bottom of the first post - our guild dates back to 2004. Here’s an archive of how our website looked like in 2004 during the WoW beta:

Having said that, we would love to work with other Kul Tiran RP groups and we offer an open invitation to any of them who wish to try out or coordinate with any of our Adversarial RP options.

Main Post and Section IV have been updated with a full glossary of the Kul Tiras Marine Field Manual, as well as the Introduction and Dedication. The rest of the text is available for reading via the links on the Table of Contents!

We’ve also added some images demonstrating how our Adversarial RP options work through the use of the N’yleth, ,Sliver of N’Zoth

Updated the main post with a disclaimer that we do not play nice with the Horde.

A friendly reminder that most of us venture into the world with War Mode ON!

If you enjoy the thrill of chance encounters with Horde filth and want to give them a good old-fashioned Kul Tiran welcome to the Shadowlands, or want to provide assistance to other like-minded Alliance individuals who are beset by Horde aggressors during their adventures then you’ve come to the right place!
