The Court of Lions is an active & established 12 year Social Roleplay guild originally on Alliance side of Earthen Ring now also on Moon Guard that also casually runs PvE content.

Our mission is outreach and supporting new roleplayers, to bring active and public roleplay to the community. We strive to be a place of inclusion and the idea that you can roleplay at any level and wherever place.

Our community is proud to be the home for beginner and veteran roleplayers alike. Bonus if you’re a RPer who also enjoys casual PvE with a chill, relaxed group. We regularly run Mythic and Keystone dungeons, normal raids, plus transmog, mount & achievement runs.

The Court of Lions has been through a few changes throughout the years, beginning as The Conjurers Court in 2009, The Alliance Protectorate, and most recently The Royal Lions Brigade. We are one of Earthen Ring’s most active RP guilds and are just getting started on Moon Guard!

We are still & always recruiting Roleplayers!

Tomorrow is the big finale in the latest RP storyline against our favorite villain! And then on Sunday we have Part 3 of our own THE AMAZING RACE! Thora has arranged our own in game version, which takes place as a ground race through Azeroth! Winners receive gold prices and various pets and toys and flavor items, and the more difficult the race, the better the prizes!

We had only just decided to shelf any raiding until 8.2, but we have had more and more interest again in PvE. This past Saturday we managed a raid group, and we also killed Vectis for the first time ever (screenie on our gsite front page!). We’ll be keeping an eye on activity and numbers, and if it’s there we’ll pull together for a raid. Else we’ll stick to Mythics+ and keep working on gearing!

We are always recruiting RPers!

This week on Wednesday we faced one of our oldest and most persistent villains in the finale to our long-running guild storyline RP. Everyone who attended this final event had a chance to be the hero as we put down this villain for good.
But now we must wonder, who will pick up the helm now that their master has fallen?

Today is also Saturday and The Court of Lions plan to step into Battle of Dazar’alor against Champion of Light Ra’wani Kanae. We’re looking at relaxed run, and even if stuff hits the fan we aim to have a good time.
We welcome all of our members regardless of prior PvE/Raid experience to join in on guild raid nights, dungeons, keystones etc.

Screw ups, wipes, really dumb pulls, and mistakes happen! It’s a learning process and we do not yell at or degrade our members. It’s pixels to us, and we like to have a good time together.

This past Saturday The Lions stepped into Battle of Dazar’alor against Champion of Light Ra’wani Kanae for a chance to see mechanics and try the fight. After a few attempts we hit Uldir and took down Zek’voz for the first time, which puts us at 5/8. We plan to keep on hitting Uldir until we have it cleared on Normal, and then we’ll start working our way through, possibly with some Heroic attempts for fun.

With 8.1.5 active now, we have quite a few new low level alts and characters, and our Littles dungeon night will be in full swing. Friday starting around 6 PM characters level 15-60 group up and stomp low level dungeons together as a guild group.

We also have some great Roleplays planned, including a mystery wedding NEXT month during Noblegarden.

With one of our oldest and most persistent villains taken down, the hunt for any remaining who may take up the helm has begun! Starting TONIGHT we are beginning our Bounty Hunting against known and suspected enemies! Gold rewards for collecting on these bounties!

For now I am planning a weekly RP Bounty Hunting, where our team goes out together to take down some of the more important followers as a group In Game. We will also learn about other locations and names, where people may go Solo or as a small team or Duo.
Outside of the weekly Team or Duos, solo work will be encouraged through a Forum Posting on our guild website, along with a screenshot of certain High Value targets. A short story describing how your character set out and then accomplished this mission.

All of these new Guild Bounty Quests reward a sum of gold!

Tonight is also our Littles dungeon night, where our Vanilla level toons 15-60 can queue up together and stomp through dungeons as a guild group. With Kul Tirans unlocked this week, many Lions have alts they’d like to level up.

We are still & always recruiting Roleplayers!

From those just beginning their RP journey, not sure where or how to start, to those that have been RPing for years and years, we have a spot for you.

Earthen Ring is a very low pop realm, with little to no walk-up, spontaneous RP. The realm has gone through changes over the years and though it’s much (MUCH) smaller than before, but it has emerged as a small and tight-knit community, with very little toxicity. RP hubs are not elbow to elbow, it’s rare that your emote or chat will scroll by too fast, and even if you’re brand new or just new to the realm, people tend to be friendly and welcoming.

It is also Welcome Back Weekend this weekend, we’re hoping to see some faces that have disappeared, and hopefully some new ones as well!

Going on this week in The Court of Lions:
Our own Miadarrah is hosting a Fishing Contest! To bolster materials for guild raid night feasts: 1 point each for Redtail Loach and Frenzied Fangtooth, and 5 for each Midnight Salmon! The Lion that has caught the most will win a prize this coming Wednesday, including an Orb of Deception!

It’s Wednesday here, which means tonight we find out which member from The Court of Lions out-fished the rest during our 2 week long fishing competition! Up for grabs are a Steelbound Devourer mount, an Orb of Deception toy, a set of 4 Embroidered Deep Sea 32 slot bags, and various rare quality level 25 battle pets!

We are overflowing with Redtail Loach and Frenzied Fangtooth and are loaded up with Midnight Salmons, perfect for making feasts for guild raid night!

Tomorrow night we will be joining the Earthen Ring RP community in Boralus for the weekly Smiling Jim tavern night starting at 8. Down at Hops, Line, & Sinker Brewery.
Not sure where in the world that is? From the flight path in Boralus, head down the steps and then pass the gallows along the North road. The RP will be at the outside seating area on the Right, before you get to the bridge out of town.

Friday night we will be running Littles dungeons with our levels 15-60, and on Saturday we’ll be stepping back into Uldir. We’ll start out on the first bosses and clear as far as we can in about 2 hours.

The Lions have also been spontaneously taking over The Blue Recluse and The Golden Keg in Stormwind City with some casual walk-up Roleplay!

After taking down our arch nemesis villain, The Court of Lions have been hunting bounties against any who may remain a threat. Tonight we hold Part II of our Bounty Hunting class, for those who wish to test their strengths both physically and mentally.

We have various events and things going on regularly in game. Guildie dungeons, Keystones, lowbie runs, and a wide range of RP opportunities! Bounty hunting for in-game gold rewards, birthday parties, in character guild meetings, tavern nights, brawl pub, holiday events and my favorite: 10th Anniversary Grand Ball!

As of 5/16 The Court of Lions has now been around for an entire decade, formed 5/16/2009 originally as The Conjurers Court! Next month in June we will officially observe our 10th Anniversary with a Grand Ball! We’ll be inviting the general Earthen Ring RP community, and the event will be open to all friends and allies of The Court of Lions!

Tomorrow for the 1st we will be unveiling our official 10th Anniversary Ball Invitation! Along with Roleplay to acknowledge our momentous 10th anniversary, a ball with food and drink and dance and our traditional fireworks display.

We will also be giving away one of the rarer mounts to be found in game, along with a complete set of battle pets for Raiding with Leashes IV: Wrath of the Lick King, the xpansion where we began it all!

Keep an eye out in the days ahead for our official announcement and invitation! RPers on Earthen Ring would see these invitations posted in public areas, Guild Masters would receive one personally, as would our friends and allies!

We are still & always seeking new Roleplayers to join our ranks! Absolute beginners are welcomed right along with veteran RPers who could teach the rest of us a thing or several.

We’re celebrating our 10th Anniversary with a Grand Ball THIS weekend on Saturday the 15th starting at 8:00 PM (EST)! We’ll be giving away Reins of the Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent mount as our Grand Prize, along with several other mounts! We’ll also be giving away ALL of the pets required for the Wrath of the Lick King achievement!

8.2 is finally out and The Court of Lions members have been busy with dailies and World Quests and grinding the new reputations. We have been running a guild group on Nazjatar and Mechagon most days together to knock out these quests and rares.

We’ve still been rolling through Mythic dungeons as well to try and get those lagging behind some gear and experience before the Mythic levels increase soon! The Lions can’t wait to step into the new dungeons and down some new bosses together.

Whether you are an absolute beginner and don’t know anything about RP or the game or you’ve been around for years and are interested in joining an awesome group of helpful and friendly, mostly mature guild that actually DOES STUFF we are here! Earthen Ring might be a small and mostly dead realm, but The Court of Lions guild is very much alive.

From regular RP events, community events, guild Storylines, holiday parties, anniversary events, giveaways, mount raffles, guild website contests, mount runs, old raid achieves, and some very casual end-game with a chill group that just likes to have fun. Dungeons and Mythics and Lowbie nights and Keystones and we will be getting back to Normal Raiding again soon!

We are still and always recruiting! We will soon be working to fill our ranks for our sister guilds The Court of Lions on Moon Guard and Wyrmrest Accord! We’re also in Classic on Bloodsail!

Guildies have been working on their Classic characters and we plan to (still) run guildie questing groups, Dungeons, and eventually 40 man raiding as well! And all along the way find some walk-up RP with our friendly members.

Even if you haven’t played since Vanilla or stopped somewhere along the way or are just starting out for the first time, The Court of Lions is a beginner & returner friendly guild. We are proud to have not only total beginner RPers in our ranks, but the advanced veterans and everyone in between!

We are still recruiting and growing! Recruitment always open to RPers of any skill or level!

In the days ahead we will be working on our expansion to Moon Guard & Wyrmrest Accord realms. It’s undeniable that Earthen Ring is a very small and relatively dead realm, and many players have transferred to one of the 2 big RP realms.
Since we can’t beat them, we will join them.

Earthen Ring will always be my home realm, and it will always be the home realm of The Court of Lions guild. Find me in-game on Earthen Ring if you are interested in joining our ranks.

As we are only beginning building our sister branches of The Court of Lions on Moon Guard & Wyrmrest Accord, we are welcoming players from MG & WrA as well, with the possibility of leadership.

The Court of Lions is still actively seeking Roleplayers to join our ranks! We’ve had some people return for patch 8.3 which is out in full force!

You can also find some walk-up RP most evenings within Boralus, as a good handful of roleplayers have been active together. Storyline RP, guild lore RP, and RP games and events.

Last year we hosted our own version of Azeroth’s THE AMAZING RACE, and it carried into Classic for us! We’ve had an active presence in Classic, and continue to grow. Find us on Bloodsail Buccaneers, plus we are still working on getting together on Moon Guard - US and Wyrmrest Accord - US.

Updating our thread with an invitation to JOIN US on April 18th at 7 PM EST (Realm Time) beginning in Darkshire for this year’s annual Bunny Hop!

It’s going to be a fun Bunny race with everyone dressed up as Noblegarden bunnies. Companion pet rabbits are encouraged! (No mounts or speed boosts please. Some other rules and restrictions will apply. Super fine print about accidents and liabilities including being eaten by a wolf… )
Mounts & pets & other prizes will be awarded! Items TBA!

In other news, The Court of Lions is still always growing, and we are always recruiting. In the past month we have begun raiding once more, but sticking to very casual and alt or transmog runs. We’ve beaten Uldir on Normal and Heroic and have beaten Battle of Dazar’alor on Normal as well. We’re working on transmogs and quests, and since we allow alts it’s fun to help gear up fresh 120’s as well.

Join us for some casual Roleplay, in Ashran of all places. The Court and some of our Allies from Templars and other have sought refuge and some R&R during the latest Attacks and Invasions.

Upcoming next month on May 16th we celebrate our 11th year anniversary! Everyone will be invited to attend, with many prizes and giveaways, and ending with our customary fireworks show!

It has been a minute since I’ve bumped this thread.

Things are a little slower for us lately with Shadowlands on the horizon, but guildies have been prepping and trying to get their achieves etc before prepatch.

We are also keeping our fingers (and toes) crossed with the hope that ER will soon be merged. Here’s hoping for a bigger and more robust Earthen Ring, we are so ready!

Looking ahead, we have several members interested in some (Light) progression raiding in Shadowlands. You can count on our raids to be chill with a focus on FUN!

As we have been doing all along already, we will continue to help our members prep for raid by staying inclusive with our Dungeons and Mythics+ etc!

We’re just a few days away from Shadowlands pre-patch and The Court of Lions is still going strong! We’re all looking forward to the pre-patch events, new content and SHADOWLANDS!

Join us for casual PvE, this expansion we are hoping to get together a dedicated raid team for 1 or 2 nights a week for some light progression. Light as in no yelling, no calling out DPS or mistakes, no degrading our members, and most of all: keeping it FUN!

In need of an Off Tank, another Heals or 2, and of course some DPS both ranged and melee. If you’re willing to contribute 2-2.5 hours once or twice a week for some fun casual progression, hit us up!

We’ll be hitting dungeons as soon as we can, and are always ready and willing to help out guildies get geared up or leveled up. From carries through Mythics and lower Keystones, steamrolling normals or Heroics for starter gear, grouping for Invasions and Assaults, and even lowbie dungeon groups!

Our take on RP has always been simple and the same: we look to help out new Roleplayers learn the ropes and get more comfortable in a welcoming and friendly environment. We all do things at our own pace, and that’s great! Join us for many RP events, from holiday parties, grand anniversary balls, tavern nights, in-character guild meetings, story nights, guild lore, storylines and more!

TL:DR: We are a chill and welcoming group interested in RP and casual PvE. Always seeking more Roleplayers from the absolute beginner to the advanced. We have a spot for you!

Prepatch is tomorrow! Guildies are getting excited and talking about where we are going to park our characters for the big day. I know a lot of us plan to spend some time at the barber shop redoing hair and customizations etc! Some of us are planning to make new characters as well. Look out for some lowbie dungeoning!

As always we are still recruiting. We’re a social RP guild, and we welcome all Roleplayers whether absolute beginner who doesn’t know anything about RP but wants to, to the RPer that has been Roleplaying longer than some of us have been alive!
