Northweald Dominion

The Northweald Dominion is seeking brave citizens willing to make a new path in a new territory in the frigid continent of Northend. The Northweald Dominion is a roleplaying guild focused on the establishment of a new Duchy and colony in the Northend continent. We offer exciting storylines as we establish our territory. What we offer:

  • Exciting new storylines based on a new territory and the opportunity to stake your claim on new and unsettled lands.

  • The guild offers different avenues to explore your roleplaying story from Knighthood, nobility, Church, merchants & civilian roleplay. The setting is a blank canvas to make your own story.

  • A relatively new guild focused on growth & stability a lot of our members where invited through roleplaying encounters and as such we are close and tight knitted. We want everyone to feel like they’re part of the story and not just another number to be added to the roster.

The Northweald Dominion is a passion project of mine I have always been invested in the plays of nobility, government and Knighthood and this reflect the atmosphere of the guild we are low to medium fantasy in that our roleplay is not as high fantasy like spaceships and other high fantasy concepts but we are still aware that such things are part of the settings.

The guild takes it’s concepts from the Knights-Templar, Teutonic Knights and how they established the Crusader States in a far off part of the world. While we take a lot of mottifs from the Crusaders and realistic version of Knighthood we are NOT affiliated with the Scarlet Crusade.

The Duchy of Northweald is proud to proclaim the elevation of the following Northwealdians to the peerage:

  • Lord Hadrian Blackwater, Baron of Torby is hereby created 1st Baronet of Blackwater and General of the Asuryan Army and it’s Minister of War.

  • Dame Talvaesea, is hereby created 1st Baronetess of Dreadmarch and Dread Commander of the Order Saint Zeliak.

The following citizens have been granted their Knighthood:

  • Sir Garth Welson, is hereby confirmed as a Knight of the Order Saint Lordain
  • Sir Charles Thatcher, is hereby confirmed as a Knight of the Order of Saint Lordain & Praetorian Knight for the Duke Asuryan
  • Sir Bohemond, is hereby confirmed as a Knight of the Order of Saint Lordain

The Knights last evening engaged the forces of the undead deep in the Fjord where they engaged the believed leader of the group of Death Knights that have been assailing the newly created settlements. Serious injuries were reported by the Knights but all members of the gentry survived their wounds and were able to push the Death Knight back. Fort Blackwater is hereby ordered to begin bombardment of the Fortress and break it’s magical barriers.

The guild is expanding as we begin the conclusion of the first campaign.

Super excited what we have accomplished over last couple of weeks.

  • Finished the first arc of the guild (over three months of epic rp moments)
  • Guild has grown considerably
  • Daily World RP sessions
  • Guild lore fleshing out nicely

Exciting tidings in the Duchy love to see the creativity in this guild with weekly events:

  • We have begun expeditions in our colonization efforts to the following regions: Northgarde & Dawnreach each settlement will provide unique challenges and boons to the Duchy.

  • We have cemented our Knight of the Silver Hand Chapter (Order of Saint Lordain) including a guild created libram. We are currently seeking Squires & Knights.

  • Trouble is afoot in the County of the Weald with a plague being spread through one of their settlements. Uncover the hidden conspiracy within the Weald.

These stories are all member driven and I’m excited to see where they will go.
