The Dwarven lands of Khaz Modan are known to be filled with one of the highest coagulations of Ley Lines in the entirety of the Eastern Kingdoms. Our very lands have been subject to multiple Mystic-based, originated or adjacent threats throughout their history, from the tyrant Ragnaros to the Orcish siege of the nation. With this in mind, it is unequivocal that a force by the Dwarves, for the Dwarves, is necessary-- And such was decided when the creation of the Modan Spellbreak Agency ensued in the year 266, After the High King. Now, in the midst of the year 271, Azeroth rumbles once more. The very Earth, the Dwarven people’s charge, calls out to us. As always, the MSA intends to answer the call-- Will you answer with us?
The Modan Spellbreak Agency is one of the largest Dwarven Roleplay guilds on Moon Guard. Running strong for 2 IRL years and 5 In-Character years, we’ve had two long-term campaigns and are on the cusp of starting our third. The intention is to create a constantly running, DnD-like story that Dwarven players can get involved with, and allow their characters to grow alongside. Our campaigns are largely based around the exploration of Azeroth and the discovery of dangerous artifacts and enemies vying for them.

Are you Dwarf Only?
We take citizens of Khaz Modan-- That meaning, Dwarves and Gnomes only- Soon to add Earthen! If you see any character within the guild that isn’t of that species, they’re likely an ‘NPC’ played by one of our members’ alts.
Are you entirely RP based?
At the moment, yes. During War Within we hope to expand into PvE and PvP, but we need the Dorfs to do so. If you find yourself itching to roleplay heavily, while being instrumental in creating a PvP/PvE environment, come to us!
Does the guild have an HQ?
The guild operates out of a variety of proxies that make up the fanon Thanedom of DUN RUNESTEIN, situated just north of Ironforge in the high Wetlands. The Thanedom over the past few years has developed a rich lore that is embedded deep in the history of Khaz Modan and even the Titans-- Come uncover it with fellow players!
What are the guild’s ranks?
Our rank system is promotion-based. Players that arrive will start as Watchmen of the MSA, then make their way up to Novice once they’ve created a profile under our Dicemaster rolling system. The ranks are:
Taskmaster - Guild Leader
Warden General - Major Officers
Field Commander - Junior Officers
Titan Operative - Highest Ranking Player Members
ARC Operative - Elite Dwarves of the MSA.
Spellbreaker - Above Average performing Dwarves!
Agent - Agents of the MSA.
Contractor - Folks who have learned and gotten used to the Dicemaster System.
Novice - Just-turned Agents-- New to the Dicemaster System.
Watchmen - New Members- Pre Dicemaster.
From there, promotions are based around activity at events and within the guild-- with the main reward being that the higher you go in rank (starting at Agent+), the more commonly campaign plot points will be based around YOU! We do this to ensure that players who receive long term plot points will be sticking around. Not to say Watchmen and Novices don’t have chances to shine constantly!
