Hello everyone!
I don’t normally make posts on the forums, but what I am seeking is not too easily found in-game. Usually villains are more among the outcasts of roleplayers, most left to operate on their own or already committed to their own diabolical deeds. I am here to seek out TWO villain partners. This partnership will not be with this character (my posting character), but another that we may be making together. There are a few criterias that I’m looking for in a partner.
Criteria:
-Friendly OOC to everyone.
-Willing to make a new character to abide by the lore.
-Experienced Roleplayer
-Accepting of character death when reasonable.
-Evening Hours (9 PM - 12 AM EST)
These criterias are not because I am a picky person to roleplay with, but I do carry high standards when it comes to being a villain in the game. I have been roleplaying on Moon Guard for an estimate of 10 years. I have seen horrific villain roleplayers who gmod through everything and do not respect the lore of their character’s class or race, and I have seen amazing villains such as the “Residuum of Icecrown”. When I play a villain, I don’t do it for myself, but for the entertainment of others. I mean I do enjoy playing a villain, but I do it correctly with respect to the roleplay situations.
The Theme:
I will not say the specific theme to avoid future spoilers in the Moon Guard community, but I will tell you details that revolve around what we will be doing. We will NOT be roleplaying in Stormwind. Our focus will be creating problems for a well known guild that would actually make sense for them to encounter such issues. Some scenes will be planned with the enemy guild, but most will be individual targets where we would speak to individual people if they carry an interest to participate in being victims for our wrongdoings.
If you are interested or wish to know -all- of the information, please reach out to me on discord. I will be happy to discuss our villainry there.
Until then!

I can respect the interest in protecting someone’s identity but you’re asking people to trust a group they know nothing about. You may want to be a little more up-front about who this guild is. Knowing that information would certainly make or break my interest. Do they know that you’re doing this?

They know I’ve been doing this! In fact, I’ve made multiple low level characters to help develop the story all by myself. I also NEVER force anyone to participate in what I do. Either it is planned where I reach out to certain individuals who are in this guild to see if they’re interested in becoming a victim or they come to my character seeking out a fight. I am happy to say that they are welcoming of this form of villainry. The stage is already setup by me. It’s just that there’s certain things I cannot do on my own.

Horde or Alliance or does it not matter?
It has to be Alliance sadly. I will say this group is a known criminal group, but this group makes sense to only be Alliance lore wise.
A rule of this server is you cannot set high standards on any given situation unless you expect total power or control over the thoughts, actions, and intentions of others.
Unless someone is willing to be a literal slave to your story, your ideas, your law it always leads to disappointment.
And noone truly dies in warcraft. They will always have a means to return. The Shadowlands literally gave us that Wild card.
Noone has to always play the villain.
You can play as a Pariah.
a person that is not accepted by others, often because of their actions or beliefs. Someone who is despised or avoided.
Technically all death knights or Demon Hunters are considered Pariahs.
A good example is when you are in a war zone you see someone injured and may possibly die, meanwhile the villain or boss is getting away.
You chose to chase the villain. Is that a bad thing? Not unless there is a law requiring you to stop and apply aid to someone in need. Does it make you look bad, of course but again you cannot be punished.
But people will shun you or not trust you.
A Pariah is the best role you can be because you may not be allowed in any alliance capital city, and how many guards are going to chase you out of the lands they swear fealty to if you encroach upon them. A city guard may chase you out or arrest those for harboring a Pariah in their household but beyond that you are still your own man/woman with no ties to king/country/faith.
You could choose to rob the villain or rob the dead on a battlefield but again it doesn’t make you a villain if you owe no allegiance and no side has sovereign say over the land (usually warzones follow an anything goes towards victory premise).

I do feel like there is an exception to having high standards when it comes to playing villains. This is mainly because being a villain disrupts the progression of another’s character by creating conflict. Whether it be robbing a store and disallowing them to grow their business, putting a curse on the character that does something evil, etc. etc. I don’t want to give too much detail into the examples, but in my opinion, I believe there is some standards that do need following as a villain.
If this is done incorrectly, the opposing party will be greatly dissatisfied with what is done to their storyline since what happens will carry on forward with their character. Another reason, specifically to the theme I am seeking out for, the lore tends to be rather touchy with some people and I’m attempting to bring it back into good light.
Accepting of character death when reasonable:
This is more so of a way of saying do not god-mod, however, there are also times where a death will lead to a very nice closure of a story. Me personally, I don’t think I’ve ever killed one of my character since there was no reasonable meaning to it, but there was a time where a storyline was aligned for it occurring to one of my characters. Of course, there will always be a way out like the Shadowlands, but this is more so to prevent god-mod rather than having a partner who has their ego high and believes their character can’t die even though surrounded by a group of good guys.
No one has to play the villain:
Of course not! But I made this post to find villains, not Pariahs.

soft, maniacal chuckle echoes from the darkness
Summon me from the Maw and i can be a villain to kill. I am after-all a tortured spirit bound to a suit/shell/avatar. My soul is bound to this place of eternal torment as its Harbinger.
My death just means a return to the Cauldron where i await a new shell…and the process repeats.
Soul entrapment only works on a living creature whose soul is captured as they die. Won’t work on an avatar or mechanical construct.
Summoning Policy
And remember, if I kill someone, or if the summoner himself/herself is killed, I will drag their soul down with me directly into the Maw where they will be tortured for eternity in a well of agony, pain, and despair.
How delightful am I!!!
(Demons usually consume the soul or throw it into their engines so its a slow final death, but the maw is forever.)
