FISCO Enterprises is an aspiring global, multi-industry trading company. Once a Booty Bay insurance firm, its industries have since grown to encompass pharmaceuticals, security, entertainment, recreational drugs, fashion, banking, and more.

The vast majority of the company’s enterprises are legal or nonprofit. It operates free clinics in Elwynn and Stormwind, manufactures medical supplies for the Alliance military, throws lavish fundraisers for the city’s politicians, offers security and debt settlement services to private entities and individuals, and provides loans, shipping insurance, and other financial services to Alliance corporations and organizations.

There are whispers, though, of less-than-savory activities: casinos and brothels, drug smuggling, arms dealing, insurance fraud, embezzlement, racketeering, blackmail, political lobbying that smells a little too like bribery. Darker things, too: beat downs and brawls, hostile takeovers, vicious debt collection, and fixers that can make even the nastiest mess clean as fresh snow.

Some say the company’s pretty smile is the only thing that separates it from a goblin cartel. Others, however, say that their dealings go beyond business, that they have illusions of an empire of exiles, wanderers, and scoundrels that spans the sea.

We might be a good fit for you if:

  • You enjoy writing trade, business, and political characters. We like to organize markets, auctions, and fundraisers!
  • You like goal-oriented, organized crime RP. FISCO participates, clandestinely, in drug and arms trafficking, smuggling, gang warfare, contract killing, debt settlement, political bribing, et cetera. To preserve its image, it also employees an extensive team of ‘fixers’ to make its legal (and ethical) problems disappear.
  • You like white-collar crime. We’re always looking for lawyers, lawmakers, nobles, financiers, investors, real estate tycoons, bookies, political lobbyists, consultants, money launderers, and loan sharks.
  • You like world RP!
  • You like dice-based campaigns and events! We use our own custom 3d6 system that includes earned titles, feats, items, and leveling.

This guild is fantastic and highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in white-collar crime or interesting dice-based campaigns.

I’ve been a part of many d20 systems in the past but none have captured my heart quite like the modified d6 system that FISCO has. It’s intuitive, allows progression, and best of all – it’s really fun!

Jaric is a stellar DM. Never seen anything quite like the campaign he’s running. It might seem a bit overwhelming at first but he holds your hand through it if need be. Once you get the hang of everything, it’s really intuitive.

I highly recommend FISCO if you’re interested in joining. And even if you aren’t, you’re always welcome to the RP with us regardless of your guild tag. So please reach out or walk up if you see us!

I absolutely love FISCO- a place where you can find deep characters, high stakes, and intriguing plotlines. If you’re looking for a high brow cartel RP experience with blood, gold, betrayal, and power- look no further.

That’s definitely a possibility with this guild! That is originally what happened with my alt. She got pulled into a job that turned sour and it tested her moral compass.

The dealings of the guild aren’t outright insidious or evil. They majority are legal or nonprofit like Jaric’s post states, so it’s more than plausible to join on an innocent character that just swept up into more than they can handle and it tests their mettle and morals.

:slight_smile: I personally had a lot of fun with the character development when it happened on my alt.

A deal is struck in defiance of occupation, an explosion wipes out old authority, two faced snakes meet in secret to play different angles. Dwindling resources threaten to foment revolution and the sand begins to run out in the hourglass. Win at any cost or lose everything.

We work with freelancers quite a bit. We even have a rank specifically for characters that want to join but would rather remain independent contractors; Affiliates. A lot of them are in our current campaign!

To add to what Tangiers said:

We don’t ever expect people to use our guild tag if they want to RP with us. We have a specific guild rank for not-fully-associated guild members, as Tangiers wrote, but we also are more than happy to let other guilds or non-guilded people into our campaign/events. We use in-game community channels and Discords to keep things organized.

Like Jaric said, we don’t ever expect anyone interacting with us to join the guild if they want to remain in their current guild. You’re more than welcome to join the campaign!
