About Dreamweavers
Dreamweavers is a Heavy RP-focused guild centered around themes of druidism, nature, the Cenarion Circle, and assisting throughout the regions of Azeroth in the healing and restoration of the world and the natural balance. Our goals include the continued efforts in aiding the refugees of Teldrassil, mending the damage done by the Nightmare forces of Xavius, patrolling the various regions that have strong ties to druidism and nature, and addressing the looming threat of the Drust within Azeroth and beyond the veil in Ardenweald. Based out of Val’sharah and the Dreamgrove, we welcome all with strong ties to nature, to the kaldorei, and any druids who seek to further their training under one of the most ancient orders of druidism in all of Azeroth.
Ranks:
Below are our ranks within the guild, and where you might fit into it as part of the Dreamweavers.
-
Shan’do - Den Mother Lylah Ashenclaw is current leader of the Dreamweavers, training many new and existing druids further with some of the most ancient knowledge of nature itself. She has spent her time since the War of the Ancients training the next generations of druids, before entering a slumber for several hundred or thousands of years in between each. During the Legion’s third invasion, she was awoken once again to defend her home of Val’sharah, and has since trained many new forces to help aid the world in both healing and defending against all foes who would seek to bring harm to it.
-
Thero’shan - Aleklah O’Connell is Shan’do Ashenclaw’s main student, overseeing the new generation of the Dreamweavers in her stead at times. If you need to get word to the Den Mother, Aleklah can safely relay your message. Lylah Ashenclaw places a great deal of trust into her main student, and channels her eagerness to learn into helping lead the other students and forces within the Dreamweavers. Grove Warden - Higher-up members of the Dreamweavers forces, their numbers consist of very skilled druids and allies who have fought fiercely to protect the Dreamgrove, and lead others under their command. When Shan’do Ashenclaw and her Thero’shan are busy with their duties, it is the Grove Wardens who are helping relay orders and training to the other forces within the Dreamweavers.
-
Astral Walker - Astral Walkers are those amongst the Dreamweavers who are attuned to the lunar cycle, and the arcane power drawn from the ever-shifting balance between day and night. While the majority of the Dreamweaver forces that hold this rank are balance-affinity druids, you may also find yourself here if you are an especially attuned arcane mage!
-
Cenarion Ward - Acting as the envoys for the greater Cenarion Circle forces, especially those stationed within the Maelstrom and The Wound of Silithus, Cenarion Wards are the shamans and druids who have come to lend their aid to the Dreamweavers.
-
Dreamweaver - The titular rank of Dreamweaver is often reserved for those who were especially aligned with the restorative magics of nature, and that may have even convened with Ysera before her corruption and subsequent death. You will find mostly restoration-affinity druids within this rank, but may even find the rare handful of mistweaver monks, who share similarities in their powers to the Dreamweavers themselves!
-
Oathclaw - Stalwart fighters, those sworn to the rank of Oathclaw are Shan’do Ashenclaw’s main students, consisting of the combined forces of the Druids of the Claw, Druids of the Talon, and the rare remaining Druids of the Fang. Cunning and fierce, the Oathclaw forces are often the first defenders against any threat to nature. Rumour has it that some survival hunters have even begun to make their way into this sacred rank.
-
Sentinel - The Dreamweavers are not strictly limited to those who hold a high affinity to the natural magics of the world, and are supported by the Sentinel forces of the kaldorei. Skilled warriors, impeccable hunters, and swift rogues make up the bulk of the Sentinel forces, who have begun to open their ranks to other races beyond the night elves.
-
Temple Devout - Val’sharah is the home of the sacred Temple of Elune, one of the most revered sites in kaldorei history. It is here that priestesses of Elune train and offer their devotion to the goddess, and as such are given the protection of the Dreamweavers. While it is mostly priests that make up this rank, any who are devoted to Elune and her gifts are also welcomed into it, especially scholarly types like mages.
-
Initiate - While many of the Dreamweavers forces are established from thousands of years of history and tradition, there is always a need for more who are devoted to nature. Here in this rank, druids who have only just begun their training, or adventurers who have sought to join the ranks of the Dreamweavers, are found, and while some may be comfortable with their rank here, many strive to find their true calling within the Dreamweavers beyond this point.
Guild Rules & Expectations
Below are some rules, guidelines, and what we expect from you as a member of our guild and community:
– Negative remarks pertaining to race/ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation are prohibited and will result in removal from the guild community.
– Please refrain from openly discussing controversial topics to maintain a generally peaceful environment within the guild.
– Please respect all members by demonstrating maturity in general interactions. Remember that not everyone maintains the same style of roleplay, but that does not make any particular style any less valid.
– Any conflicts should be resolved privately or brought up with an officer to have it resolved amiably.
Weekly Calendar
Sunday - Tavern Night in Moonglade or Val’sharah. Every week we get together IC, have some drinks, good food and chat about the world and what our characters have been up to! This is also a great chance for folks to meet up with us from outside of the guild IC, and interact with us!
Thursday - Every second Thursday is reserved for a campaign event, a slightly longer event than the usual mission events that are held on Saturdays, and will be used to further the development and continuation of our current campaign. If we do not have a current campaign active, this bi-weekly event is instead reserved for a guild meeting, which will include both casual IC meet-ups and OOC discussions for ideas going forward!
Saturday - Weekly mission events are held on Saturday, where we do smaller combat events and diplomatic missions that usually span 1-3 events. These act as filler and smaller story content for people to get involved in between our major campaigns.
Current Campaign Plans
Currently we have two future campaigns planned for the guild, which will be held over an extended time period with a mix of RP events, combat events, as well as story write-ups. More info about each campaign will be added as we develop them further!
Shadowlands Campaign - The Dreamweavers Aid Ardenweald Against The Drust
Azeroth Campaign - The Dreamweavers Combat The Nightmare Resurgence
