A Letter to Lordaeron:
“The lands which we were born in. The people that we grew up with. The families that loved us. The military that protected us. The king who adored us. The kingdom we belonged to.
The future was believed to be taken from us. This is not true; it never will be true. To the people of Lordaeron there is still hope, and that hope resonates from one source: the Holy Light.
We seek to point blame at why our kingdom cannot be restored, and while most of it falls upon the Forsaken and the Scourge; we cannot look past ourselves. The Sons and Daughters of Lordaeron must rise together to restore their Kingdom. We must rise to defend it, to fight for it, to continue to live in it. We must all become Brothers and Sisters of the Light, of the Crusade, of Humanity. For Lordaeron is and shall always be for Humanity itself.
To the faithful and veterans of the Scarlet Crusade I say this: Journey to Tirisfal. The Scarlet Crusade’s flame is not reduced to embers, it is a roaring fire under a disguise of ash.
To the Argent Crusade I proclaim this: Lordaeron belongs to Humanity, those amongst the Argent Crusade who are of human descent may be permitted to join the Crusade’s ranks again if they renounce their titles and loyalty to the Argent Crusade. Those that are not of human descent and share no kinship to humanity will be allowed to leave or be put to death.
To the traitorous and heretical reformists I have only one thing to say: Renounce your blasphemous ways and seek out our traditions or be put to death.
To the loathsome undead within Lordaeron there is only one word, one outcome for your filth: Flee Lordaeron or be purged in the might of the Holy Light.
To the contorted Grand Alliance: stay out of Lordaeron. The Scarlet Crusade will not fight other Lordaeronians if it does not have to. Lordaeron was left abandoned by the Alliance, and so only Lordaeronians have any true claim to it.
The Holy Light will see Lordaeron restored, and the Scarlet Crusade shall be the wielder of its justice.

The Bulwark of Lordaeron, as we are known Out of Character, is a traditionalist Scarlet guild. What exactly does this mean? It means we’re more-aligned to the old Scarlet Crusade, as in the Saidan Dathrohan, Grand Inquisitor Isillien, High General Abbendis (the father/senior) type of Scarlet Crusade. There is no true “redemption” no "reformation’ nothing of the sort. Inquisitions, Interrogations, and all-out Antagonistic behaviors are prevalent within our guild’s ranks in character.
So what do we do exactly? We roleplay. You may see the odd one of us in Stormwind but we strive to have open world RP within Lordaeron (specifically the Eastern Plaguelands and Western Plaguelands) as much as we can. We’re all dedicated role-players who have a love for lore and roleplay itself.

Protectors of the Scarlet Enclave:
Light and Iron. Faith and Fire. These are more than words shouted on the battlefield. They are more than words that are said within a Cathedral, Chapel, or Abbey. The Protectors of the Enclave work to harness these words and truly show new members of the Bulwark of Lordaeron how to be a proper Scarlet Crusader amongst its ranks. No matter what, no matter who, every new recruit who joins the “Bulwark of Lordaeron” goes through the same thing: they join the Protectors of the Scarlet Enclave and must learn how to properly fight and the Three Virtues. When members of the Protectors pass enough tests, they may be offered the chance to join the Crusaders, Priesthood, Magi, or if lucky enough, the Inquisition.

Crusaders of Tyr’s Hand:
Iron. Of all the sections, the Crusaders of Tyr’s Hand properly show that they have the iron to keep going. The Crusaders of Tyr’s Hand, notably referred to as the Crusaders, are the main line aspect of the Crusade. They are the true backbone of it all, and they will see battle more than any other section. When there is no warfare at the time, Crusaders of Tyr’s Hand continue to focus outwards on the restoration of Lordaeron and serving the Holy Light

Priesthood of the Scarlet Crusade:
Light and Faith. A rarity for some. Yet, the Crusade’s devoted Priesthood is kept in full stride with how many are amongst it. The priesthood has always been a small number of people, yet they are truly the most devoted. Acting as spiritual guides, voices of the Holy Light, as well as the shepherds of the masses, they stand as part of the Upper Echelon of the Scarlet Crusade.

Crimson Council of Magi:
Fire. While not all members of the Council of Magi use pyromancy, most do. This continues to be one of the smallest sections of the Crusade but the most powerful in combat. Magic has always turned the tides of battle, and the Council of Magi is no different. Alongside it in battle, there are plenty of aspects of the Scarlet Crusade that they are useful in. Scrying, plague checks, as well as warding areas.

Holy Inquisition of the Scarlet Crusade:
The Holy Inquisition shows all parts of the words of the “Bulwark of Lordaeron”, yet it also is the most elite. Inquisitors are often the most feared within the Scarlet Crusade, and Bulwark’s are no different. Composed of elite members, mostly Priests, Paladins, and those skilled with knives, they tend to be above. Heretics sometimes lie amongst the Crusade. The Plague often still can spread. Prisoners have useful information. It is the job of all of the Inquisition to discover and unravel all of this: dealing with it properly and effectively. The Inquisition’s authority is felt over much of the Crusade’s ranks, excluding some of the Priesthood, all members of the Council, and various other authorities within the Scarlet Crusade’s ranks.

Current Storylines:
The Crimson Wars:
- The Crimson Wars is the name of the current major storyline with the Northshire Communion that the Bulwark of Lordaeron has going on. It is a series of Guild vs Guild rolling events in a D20-style. This storyline is focused on the Church attempting to eradicate the Scarlet Crusade due to heresy, their practices, and more.
War in the Plaguelands:
- The War in the Plaguelands is a series of guild-only events, as well as some various guild vs guild events with other guilds (Argents, Forsaken, Death Knights/Scourge, etc). It is the major storyline the guild focuses on since the Scarlet Crusade should be working on restoring Lordaeron instead of just sitting idle within the City of Tyr’s Hand.
Future Storylines:
Cultists Amongst Us:
- With any land the Scarlet Crusade has managed to reclaim, comes hopeful civilians truly just trying to get back to work. Yet, even among these civilian groups is a darker presence as members of a Cult of the Damned Remnants attempt to infiltrate these towns. Rumors spread quickly and the Scarlet Crusade must rise to action. This is a mostly guild-only event, but we are open to working with other guilds to help with this storyline.
Events:
Weekly/Biweekly/Monthly Events:
- The Crimson Liturgy: Now and then, the Priesthood of the Scarlet Crusade orders the Gates of Tyr’s Hand to remain open for all of human, dwarven, and Quel’dorei descent to be welcome in for a few hours. During this time, a liturgy is hosted within the Basilica of the Light.
- Patrolling the Plaguelands: A D20-style event that leads various members up against encounters, either with Argents, Scourge, or worse. These usually correlate with the overall storyline at the time.
- Training and Virtue Lessons: Part of a Scarlet Crusade guild’s focus is meshing both combat and the Holy Light together. These events are used more as introductory events for newer members both IC and OOC. The focus is indoctrination and brotherhood ICly, while OOCly we want people to get used to our D20 combat system in a natural way.
- Oath and Promotion Ceremonies: The Oath and Promotion Ceremonies are biweekly events that happen to help get members promoted through the ranks in a natural way. We want to make members feel as if they accomplished something, as well as make sure members who freshly join are initiated as Crusaders in a unique fashion.

What We Require:
- Your Character must be above level 20 for us to consider you for joining our guild.
- Your Character must be a human or worgen (ICly you are asked to keep it a secret for storyline purposes), though some exceptions can be made now and then for the odd Dwarf/Quel’dorei.
- You must go through the an IC Interview after filling out the OOC Application for our guild.
- You must have a firm grasp on the lore of the game, as well as sufficient grammar. (We all make typos though, and we’re happy to help new players!)
- You must have the TRP3 Roleplay Addon in order to join.
- You must adhere to all guild rules and policies while within the guild.
