This expansion along with SL and BFA SUCKED BAD!.

I’ve enjoyed Dragonflight from start to finish
Zaralek caverns was a bit of miss and Forbidden reach was just okay but overall DF has kept me entertained and playing for most of its lifespan. The stories and zones are not as bad as the forum makes out, the WQ’s are a huge improvement on the shadowlands version and the dungeons and raids have been fun

The only major con for me is the crafting system which I despise with the burning fiery fury of a thousand suns.

Disney like you say? Sir are you aware of disney? Killing of parents, hexing of children, exile, assassinations, I could go on and but me thinks you use the word disney cause it’s the new go too thing but in reality disney has some of the darkest and most twisted story telling ever.

Definitely.

I think you are thinking of the old Disney which have those things.

I cannot think of anything recent that fits that bill.

I would add Follower dungeons as a big pro, if late to the party.

Finally allowing Dracthyr to actually use their wings was another.

I really enjoyed dragon flight , the story was alittle wonky but I still had fun… I get to be a dragon -person. and I get to fly dragons and I get to customized my dragon… I love dragons anyway so…there’s that… lol…

Started DF rating it a 6/10.

Today I rate it a 6/10.

Was a decent expansion. Early on the story was somewhat above average given recent history. In conclusion it is about average though.

Raids were average. Dungeons slightly above. PvP was everything it has been for years. Questing slightly better than average.

So all-in-all I give it a rating of a hair better than par for Blizzard.

but your only level ten…no way can i take seriously that you completed DF.

I am so tired of this comparison, you’re insulting Disney so hard here. WoW has nothing on Hunchback, sorry. Bro, even Encanto gives me more emotion than story-and-writing-for-toddlers-Dragonflight.

You do realize that the absolute majority of those are not Disney’s stories. Disney took those stories and made them palatable for the general public by dumbing down the darkness and emphasizing the bright pretty colors and singing Princesses. So no … Disney’s story telling isn’t dark and twisted. Disney tells other’s dark and twisted stories in a light and cheerful way …

Loin king, black cauldron, bambi, fox and the hound, candle seller just to name a few.

You would be correct in saying this as older films/stories are what I’m referring too but it’s still disney isn’t it? Never forget your history roots.

It’s been a very solid expansion so far. Easy to move around zones with dragonriding. The zones themselves are nicely designed and visually appealing. The crafting system was very nice this expac too.

Raids were good and the M+ dungeons were decent too. I wish there was a way to spend crests for something usefull when capped though. I haven’t PvPed at all so won’t speak to that but the PvE aspect was enjoyable.

For me Dragonflight ranks ahead of BFA, Warlords and Shadowlands. I would put it on par with MoP in terms of enjoyment when it was current content.

Exactly, don’t take me wrong, I love Disney’s work very much, but that is not what WoW was like, even at its darkest historical works, Disney will never be as dark as WoW was in Classic - WotLK era. The Dragonflights could’ve had so much more depth to their storyline and each individually, and generally the campaign lacks suspense / bit of chaos. BFA and even SL did MUCH better at this.

Another complaint I have about DF was that it didn’t allow the original Shadowlands abilities to be evergreen content. It allowed SOME of them, but abilities like Feral Spirits for Hunter and Vampire teleport were not ported over to DF and it hurts.

And healers seem to be a LOT more underwhelming and lacking in DF than they did in SL

What is darker real world tragedy or fictional can’t possibly happen tragedy? Like yeah disney doesn’t have raising an army of the dead like arthas but it has real world horror. The civil war brothers and friends killing each other all because of where they lived and what side they were on (fox and the hound), the great depression having to choose between staying warm or eating leaving you with freezing or starving (candle maker), having to give up your own life and independence for a role you don’t want just to save others from suffering (lion king), envy of others and what they have leading you to miss out on the things you do have and end up with nothing (black cauldron). These are things you can look at people right now and see the actual horror. Nobody can look look at athras or onyxia ect and say oh yeah that’s relative to x or y. Real world horror vs fictional so I guess it comes down to what you find darker of the two. I would cast my vote on real personally

The world content offered in 10.1 and 10.2 was pretty empty and disappointing.
Only worth playing once a week.
And i only play for world content.
So i cant rate this expansion highly.
Hopefully TWW brings life to the world.

lol /char1

Subs rose quite a bit during DF. It is not that bad. I liked SL better. But still, it is better than BFA. And WoD mainly only got so much hate cuz of a really bad launch and also too much focus on garrisons.

DF though? Not as bad as WoW has been in the past. I said it is not that bad. Never said it is good.

Hey Moritz! Long time no talk, hope you are doing well!

I liked the side quests actually, and the quests with Wrathion were quite fun, the campaign could have been a LOT better though. It did not manage to keep me engaged and even to this day I have still not managed to play the campaign from start to finish.

There was just no suspense and the characters seemed quite void of personality.

I have no idea what to expect from TWW, I feel like we have no real idea yet of what is coming at all other than ‘‘Delves’’ which I’m not that excited about it’s just another feature that will only keep up us interested if at all for a very brief period of time, and I don’t care AT AAALL for Earthen Dwarves :zipper_mouth_face:  :grimacing:
