A recent lawsuit accuses the WoW team of being part of a "frat boy culture" - does that impact the story?

Gantrithor ignited my vengeance against Horde players

I hate Void Elves.

I like Ganth, but sometimes he can be very abrasive towards people who don’t agree with him. God knows me and him had some pretty visicious fights after BfA happened.

Hopefully he moved on to other games. I see Vuldezi liking Finninbas and Ikaarr’s posts, but I think he’s finally muted for good.

I still see him liking any post that contradicts you.

He was a hilarious guy but yeah when he got in an argument, he got super vicious.

I was agreeing with him on many points for awhile, then I said something he disagreed with and he replied back along the lines of, “You only believe that because you’re an Alliance player S T F U”

I know I can be….pretty abrasive when it’s a subject I’m passionate about. But most of us, or we wouldn’t be here

Yeah, I see that too, I love that I live rent-free in his head.

Really? That’s pretty messed up. He used to pick a fight with me, Aki and a few others on how the worgen and kaldorei should get proper vengeance

nah, you’re good, you’ve always been good. The only time that I felt betrayed by you was when you took the side of really vitrolic worgen players against me as a Sylvanas fan but that was in the dark times of pre Shadowlands when emotions were really high.

I don’t hold grudges.

There are Toxic people in both factions. But very early in in my time in WoW, I played an Orc, but went to Night Elf because Horde players were hella toxic.

That was a long time ago, but it still feels like Horde players still have that Uber masculine frat bro vibe.

It convinced me to take on the same attitude towards Horde players to get back at him though I realized early on that’s not good to do and I feel kinda bad for doing so

And I do apologize about that…I was emotional about the worgen getting screwed over yet again in BfA. I attacked a few people unintentionally

to be fair to all of us BfA forced us to get really defensive because the narrative effectively pit us all against eachother.

Most do. They want all the glory for their side, but can’t consider the emotions and needs of the other side, and that we want certain things to be giving a proper conclusion

If I could, I would erase BfA from the cannon. It did way more harm than good.

that’s a legit thing and that’s why I was afraid to be a Horde at first. I still feel that, especially in BfA. The Horde civil war felt like toxic masculinity vs female Horde players and it was really hard to articulate it at the time. I felt silently attacked by guildmates who would fantasize about all the ways they will get to humiliate Sylvanas. It made me feel like I was trapped in a toxic faction.

I played Alliance for years, and I never felt that level of toxic machismo in the Alliance. That’s why I presented myself as Lux in the forums first. I felt more at home as my NE.

Reminds me of what Ariel posted in my thread speculating about the Horde attacking the Alliance again

It started to bother me when people began begging blizz to bring back Arthas just to torture her for eternity. I remember thinking Y’all sick, if you’re acting like this over a fictional female character, I can only imagine how you treat women irl
