Still a few of us remain. We won’t be completely gone. Joke’s on you, there were actually 14 of us before… now there’s only 7, but since according to people’s claims all it takes is one to ruin a battleground we’ll still be causing a lot of havoc with throwaway twinks.

I was tempted to quit twinking… I truly was, but after reading all the hate from people it only fuels the fire to keep going. I was never a twink to “pwn n00bs”, I’m a healer for Christ sake. I started twinking as a level 1… you can pwn a whole lot of n00bs at level 1. Through my time in the forums (dont judge me for learning morals from the forums) I’ve decided that I truly do have reason to make the lazy and entitle people’s lives terrible on war mode and in battlegrounds. If you cant get over the fact that, in a gear based game, someone who put more effort into gear can kill you, I hope you enjoy your time in the graveyard because you’ll be there a lot.

in what way are players denied access to gear? you get gear from literally everything in wow. If your argument is they dont have enough time to gear to compete with twinks then look at it this way, im assuming youre talking about lower levels. therefore a single dung will offer enough exp for at least 1 level. why not spend that time leveling out of that bracket to prepare for the next bracket in order to be competitive. nobody is denied gear, its all at your disposal in easier ways than ever before.

of course the devs dont go out of their way to make the game unfair they incentivize you to make it fair. quick complaining and defending the 1% you say new players and id love to get an actual new players opinion.

I’m not sure why some people choose to bring up the new player experience to oppose twinks. It’s not necessary.

Everyone who wasn’t a twink was at a sizable disadvantage to them. Heirlooms and dungeon gear aren’t ‘close enough,’ as some claim.

Mind you, twinks weren’t the raid bosses that some claimed either but they were out of whack and in definite need of adjustment.

… or removal, evidently.

Actually, without grandfather gear, dungeon gear and purple quest items are bis, aside from engineering goggles for twinks in most brackets. If you have dungeon gear and enchanted heirlooms you are basically a twink. And yes, just enchanting your heirlooms will give you a large advantage and there is no reason not to enchant heirlooms as they can go on any character. I went into a battleground as a level 10 disc priest with no armor on aside from enchanted heirlooms and still topped heals and came second in damage on the team. Stop complaining and just enchant your heirlooms.

If you’re actually complaining about twinks then you must be bad at PvP and you’re still going to get trashed by PvPers.

And all this complaining about gear. Go watch Xaryu beat a warrior on his mage with no gear equipped. Some twinks like huntards and warriors can be oppressive, but against other twinks? Ya’ll just need to git gud.

That’s just really inaccurate. The advantage was pretty minimal outside of like two brackets.

I’m not BiS anything. Just wearing heirlooms and have consistently been top heals in BG’s.
All my current druid is wearing, is greens I bought off the AH, and enchanted heirlooms.
I have seen plenty of people wearing just chanted up looms do just fine in BG’s to the point I have seen them being accused of being a twink, “using the exploit” ect.

“Twinks” got blamed for way more stuff than they were actually doing, and no, the twink community is NOT big enough to sustain each bracket.
I wish it was!

The 80’s bracket is TRYING to hang on with weekend wargames, but we need more people!

It’s not fun playing against new players with enchanted heirlooms. That’s why these new players need their own queues.
