New to rp, but I like reading all your trp’s. I dont interact/rp too much but, Idk if this is meta/power gaming but I like to wonder around and hand things out to people that maybe similar to things in their profile. Like the nickname bunny - i give the “unlucky rabbit” item to them or someone’s profile says their character is into reading ill give them tomes/novels and such. Is this over stepping in a way?

I mean as long as you don’t setup the trp3 extended item up to genuinely troll someone I don’t see an issue with this. Though keep in mind its always better to ask rather than just out right do something.

As previously mentioned, consent is key. But you can also think of how your character does this. Perhaps it’s a form of divination magic. Maybe your character doesn’t even know why particular items go to particular people and that gives you a fun opportunity to ask/engage/learn about each other in the walk-up.

Most people are chill and would appreciate a small token that shows you’ve taken an interest in their RP profile. Some people will take issue with unprompted trade windows, get upset with weird items in their bags, or get mad at an RP faux-pas, but if you interact with enough people you’re bound to face rejection from time to time. Knowing who you don’t get along with can be useful too.

Every now and then I get work handing out pamphlets. Some people take them. Some people don’t. Pook gets paid either way.
