I’ve found myself farming world rares for pets/toys/mounts as of late, and wish to ask you fine hunter mains what limitations does Eagle Eye have these days?
I can remember back in the day being able to point across a zone and setting up eagle eye without much issue or buggy complications, is it still the same?
I use it regularly in bgs to scout points and check rare spawns, it works great for me, no problems whatsoever. There is a macro out there that makes it spammable so you can extend your vision.

This would let me use Eagle Eye, and then, from that vantage point, use Eagle Eye again, effectively doubling my sight distance? that would be - nice. ty
Doubling the sight distance? You can use that macro from Winterspring to Tanaris.
I still use EE for WPvP scouting and Rare Farming. It still has uses.

Yes. That’s exactly the point of that macro.

I’d heard of this, but didn’t know how to make it happen. Never tried it in a macro, nor asked anyone, thought it was another thing lost.
Way, way better than nice, thank you.
Any toggleable ability can be used in a macro with ! before the spell name to prevent you from toggling it off by pressing it twice.
Commonly used with Rogue Stealth, Druid forms, etc.
