A question about the Cord of Unity

A while ago I made one of my toons a legendary item and used the Covenant Power. So I just got the Cord of Unity which has the same Covenant Power.

Does that mean that they act the same way, or do two pieces mean that there is more chance of the ability proccing?

They don’t stack

Your original covenant legendary is now useless because it isnt tagged as “unity” and you’ll have to remake it if you don’t like the belt

The 265 [X of Unity] from the campaign is flagged as an Enlightened Legendary, but it comes at that specific item level with those specific stats in those specific amounts, and it cannot be changed.

The Runecarving Memory [Unity] allows you to put the same effect as the Cord of Unity on literally any primary armor slot (no trinkets), at any of the legendary tiers’ item levels (190, 210, 225, 235, 249, 262, and 291), and with equal amounts of two secondary stats of your choosing plus any sockets those pieces (Helm, Neck, Rings, Bracers, Belt) would come with for those corresponding slots.

The Unity power you get from the 265 belt and the Unity power you get from the Runecarving Memory are both completely identical. You don’t gain anything by having both Unity and the Cord of Unity equipped.

Sighs. OK. At least I get the soul ash and soul cinders back.

One of the items you can buy in Haven from the quartermaster gives you enough soul ash/cinders/whatever to craft a legendary. At the cost of some cosmic flux (i think it is) which you should have about a billion of now.
