A question about streaming the game to a Steam Deck and the TOS

I’ve played a lot of WoW sitting up in bed. Lap desk plus laptop, wireless mouse with a hardcover book to set the mouse pad on. Pillow under my knees so they don’t get stiff from being locked out straight. I got through all 25 or 40 or whatever renown levels of Plunderstorm that way, even though I had to take frequent breaks when my recovering broken ankle couldn’t take sitting still that long.

I know that won’t work for everyone - for example, you have to be able to sit up pretty far to play that way, and I know that’s not the case for everyone who’s confined to bed. And not everyone has a laptop. But I wanted to put it out there as a possibility if you decide not to risk doing it on the Steam Deck.

Probably best not to use it. Could Identify it as a hack. Wait until Blizzard has full support for this.

If you do want to play WoW in bed, you could look into an actual windows based handheld gaming PC. ROG Ally, Legion Go, and MSI Claw all have some models. Though if you’re based in the US I have absolutely no idea if the pricing is decent right now or not.
