We’re < Pulling Aggro IRL >, a guild made up entirely of mature players who enjoy World of Warcraft on our own terms. We’re not chasing world firsts or optimizing every cooldown, we’re logging in between work meetings, after the kids are asleep, or during those precious weekend hours when we finally get a break. We’re gamers with lives, and we’ve built a community that reflects that reality.
Our guild originally formed in 2017 under the name < Aes Sedi >. We were active for several years before taking a natural break, as real-life responsibilities shifted for many of our members. Now, with the launch of The War Within and the announcement of World of Warcraft: Midnight, we’re back, and looking to rebuild with people who want to be part of something relaxed, friendly, and future-focused.
Who We Are
We’re a medium-sized group of adult players who prioritize community and fun over meta builds and raid logs. Our members are working professionals, parents, caretakers, and all-around busy people who still love the game, even if we don’t always have the time or energy for competitive play. What binds us together isn’t a specific type of content, it’s a shared understanding that WoW should fit around real life, not the other way around.
There’s no minimum playtime, no gear score requirements, and no pressure to be “on” all the time. If you log in a few times a week or disappear for a while when life gets hectic, that’s totally fine. We’re building a space where people can come as they are and enjoy the game in whatever way works best for them.
What We Offer
- Casual mythic+ runs that may or may not be interrupted by someone’s toddler climbing on their desk, whether it’s a +2 or a +10
- Optional raids (currently raiding all difficulties in Legion Remix, with normal and heroic raids planned for Midnight)
- Social events like transmog contests, Discord movie nights, trivia, goblin glider contests, and whatever else people are interested in
- Voice chat where the conversation ranges from game mechanics to lawn care advice (ask us about cool season grasses and the best time to overseed)
- A Discord full of screenshots, helpful links, memes that are legally classified as “dad-tier,” and the occasional deep life talk
- A no-pressure environment where no one cares if you need to log off mid-fight to take a work call, check the oven, or chase your dog down the street
Who We’re Looking For
If you love the game but don’t want it to feel like a second job, and appreciate a mature, no-drama environment, we’d love to hear from you. Whether you’re a returning player, a quiet solo adventurer looking for community, or someone who’s always wanted a guild that doesn’t take itself too seriously, we think you’ll find a good fit with us.
All classes and specs are welcome. You don’t need to be geared, experienced, or up to date on lore. You just need to be kind, respectful, and interested in being part of something cooperative and fun.
