A possible solution to player's request for RDF, late night group woes, and other problems

Unfortunately we can’t expect players to PvP on those realms when it isn’t feasible to do so. There are extremely long queue times for the entire battlegroup with the added bonus of not being able to push decent rating because there simply aren’t enough players queueing to climb and fill out the ladder. Would you agree that everyone playing WoTLK right now will make up the majority of the population for the rest of the expansion?

It seems that players are considering quitting because there isn’t RDF, which if added wouldn’t even scratch the surface of the problem. There are locked realms, and underpopulated realms. Even on locked realms I mention groups becoming more and more stringent; requiring high logs and/or high gear score.

Do you genuinely believe that if RDF is added, and your fresh character is finally in pre-bis that it will solve this problem? It’s only going to get worse when later phases are released.

If Blizzard adds cross realm raiding and arena it would help immensely, it would help OCE realms, NA realms, everyone.

I am honestly curious as to why players are advocating for JUST random DUNGEON finder. That’s what’s holding players back? You guys aren’t talking about fixing problems you’re trying to convince Blizzard to add a convenience feature because you don’t want to walk to a dungeon.

I think it’s a little too late. Probably half of my guild of casual players have already stopped playing. I don’t think Blizzard is interested in fixing this problem.

The solution is not at all complicated. You just add RDF as it was and as it should be.

If that is what you think then you obviously have not been following the conversations on the topic. It has very little to do with traveling to an instance and mostly to do with the problem of people not being able to find groups for the 1-70 content because there are very few players available to do so. We are discussing a solution to the issues of finding groups without waiting for sometimes hours just to find 4 other players to run an instance.

It is a major issue. Right now players are leaving the game because they are frustrated with playing the wait hours just to run the content game. They are frustrated that they cannot level alts because everyone has just started raid logging.

No, please catch up on the actual topic. RDF spans more than this thread, before you make some sweeping and incorrect assumption of:

No we are not but you believe what you want to

My issue is not having trouble finding groups, as without RDF I exclusively run group content daily with a core group.

I would most definitely have more toons ready to fill whatever our raid needs with RDF, though, and would enjoy the time I play solo a lot more.

By travel, you must mean teleport. And by dungeon/raid, you obviously mean just dungeon.

It is, though.

Would hate to see them halfass RDF when we already have a halfassed LFG tool that somewhat works.

RDF or no RDF will not fix the problems the WoW community faces.

Thank you to anyone in Blizz if you read my post, I appreciate your time.
