Yeah I was thinking to do similar but seeing that they turned off era paid service transfers I suspect they will not allow them from Anniversary to Era.

As it was. I transferred from Mankrik to Whitemane. I just want to transfer back to Mankrik again.

If it’s bots, or world bosses or resources just say so, because what you’ve told us so far isn’t true. The realms ARE NOT LINKED, as per the following blue post and blizzards own support article. :

Classic Dev Team: please reinstate paid transfer service for classic era, please shut off the free transfers off of places like Grobb. Please! Take our money, allow us to play where we want to play.

You’d have to click through on the quote to see the full context from the Blizzard employee. But essentially, they are claiming that the Paid Transfer Service was a “money trap” because all realms are connected already (which is untrue) and therefor all PTS purchases were taking money in exchange for nothing of value to the customer, given the false narrative that all Era realms are already connected.

I did read the quote, which prompted my comment. It’s completely erroneous nonsense. I assume they just didn’t want to support it for a number of reasons, including blocking transfers to the player initiated “fresh start” realms, so it was just easier to shut the whole thing down, but they didn’t want to admit it.

Each day that passes with my characters stranded and separated from my other characters adds to the frustration. I was right in the middle of a migration of all toons to a new realm when the rug was pulled out with no notice. Please reinstate the paid character transfer service in Era.
