To get to the sewers to the undercity is providing to be a problem.
I follow the instructions to go to stormwind…
Which then says board the tram to ironforge…
Then I have no idea where to go…
Can anyone help please
Go to the Dwarven District in Stormwind. The entrance to the tram is there. It should stick out; it’s a giant arch leading into a tunnel.
Oh yeah I’ve done that… I’m in ironforge already but no idea how to get to undercity
Undercity is north of you. You can fly to it. There is a sewer entrance in the hills a little east-northeast of the city itself, near a tower ruin.
I’m just wondering why you have to go there. Is it a quest? If so, there should be someone or something you talk to to take you there. Because if you just show up all normal like, you’ll get blasted by the guards.
Yeah weird eh…I thought that too but it was literally giving me directions up until I got to ironforge?
Maybe there’s someone there in IF you’re supposed to find? You could try googling the quest and/or looking it up on wowhead.
I’m finding that new feature where it effectively tries to give you waypoints (or a breadcrumb trail, if you will) to your destination to be more unhelpful than not. I would suggest you just ignore it, look at the map, and figure it out.
In the unlikely event that you’re still stuck… from Ironforge, you’ll have to go through Loch Modan, Wetlands, Arathi Highlands and Hillsbrad Foothills to get to Undercity.

I had a quest tell me to take the Boralus portal to Ironforge, take the tram to Stormwind and then stop, leaving me to fly to Blackrock mountain.
Coulda just said hey port to Stormwind.

Haha, yeah, that’s the stuff I’m talking about. I blindly followed the instructions once or twice, and then I’m like… hang on a minute… I could have taken a much more optimal route.

Well if u have flying just fly straight north to trisfall glades.
Mhm i thought hey maybe the portal to Ironforge is a faster route, and then when it told me to take the tram i had to follow through just to see what instructions it gave.
Edit: Also to keep it on track for the OP is it the DK order hall quest? I believe your best bet is to fly from IF since they took out the Dalaran Crater portal. Unless you can still portal to the old DK starting area (idk if you still can)

OMG, I fell for that too. I had to go to… Tanaris, I think? I don’t even remember why. But it told me I had to go to Boralus > Ironforge > Tram to Stormwind > Port to Uldum then fly to Tanaris. I did it without thinking about it. Then I’m like, wait, I could have just taken the port to Stormwind > then Uldum. LOL, Blizz be trollin’

Back in Legion, you would take the portal to the Dalaran Crater, but they removed that (it is supposed to be there for quests, but I’ve heard that it’s bugged).
So you will either want to find a mage with the crater portal, or you will want to take a flight path to Chillwind point and then fly the rest of the way.
You want to go to Tirisfal Glades. It will be in the Southeastern part.
A bit to the west of the ruined city you will find a tunnel in the mountain.
You want to enter that and keep going in and eventually you will be in the city. Hope this helps
