A Noob's Advice For Kyrian Command Table

Alright so for anyone so bored as to follow me and my command table here we are:

7 weeks (?) in and my command table is fully upgraded - 25% healing, 25% reduced mission times. Before last week I ONLY completed 8 of my Adventure Campaign Progress quests. Everything was GOLD. My lowest guys could single handedly lead a team of 4 foot soldiers and not wipe. There were easily 3 or 4 XP quests PER DAY.

My guys last week were:

Kleia - 40
Kyth - 40
Nemea - 40
Pel - 38
Telia - 35
Sika - 32
Meatloaf - 31
Clora - 30
CROMAN! - 29
Mika - 26
Tele - 26
Molako - 25

Foot Soldiers - 30

HOWEVER 2 days ago to get my daughter the Spirited Skyfoal pet, I went to Adventure Campaign 9 and it has been different! I’ve lost 2 of my 1000xp quests and 1 of my easy 1200xp quests. I’ve also lost all(?) my level 12-23 quests. The hit points x damage total of my opponents has gone up by 50% - maybe more on some.

All the quests now are 24+, with an average I would guess at 33. My lowest guys can solo the 24 quests but wipe on anything higher. I can send my top 5 team into anything and succeed but the damage they take is a lot compared to rank 8. I can send my second top 5 team into almost anything and they will likely win but come back crippled for a day as they heal up. Also since Tuesday I have only received 1 XP quest per day.

sob

So there you go.

Long story short - ride level 8 questing until your guys are level 40 AND DO NOT LOSE SIGHT OVER GETTING A PET FOR YOUR KID.

I haven’t even upgraded a single covenant feature beyond the unlock. I think my highest level follower was like level 23?

Yea… my main jumped into that zone where there’s like no anima and everything is dicey with very little payout. Hoping once I complete that 36 campaign quest I start seeing more anima again even if it’s a bit harder to finish the missions.

Can you track which step you’re on somewhere, or have you just been counting how many campaign missions you’ve finished?

I took too much advantage of the Night Fae auto-win and breezed through the campaign missions, so now I’m only able to level by sending as many companions as possible onto gold elite missions so they can fail and get the pittance of xp from them.

It’s not super fun.

I think it’s when you start seeing the pets show up as rewards, that’s when you should stop.

Unfortunately it’s too late for me. I’m on the mount missions now - I managed to get one of them, but the campaign missions available now are lvl 60 and my highest champion is lvl 38.

I also don’t get xp missions anymore, so gold elites are my only option for levelling any of them for the 1500 you get for losing. Too bad they all take 10+ hours.

There is an awesome add-on called…Venture Plan it does the following:

Tells you how many Adventure Campaigns you’ve completed - mine tells me I am at 9.

Tells you how many XP you get even on a failed mission - some quests I’ve seen award up to 900XP.

Offers you a rough estimate on quest success.

Maps out the active and potential quests on a color coded table to make it easier on the eyes.

Give it a whirl.

Yea, I’m in the same boat. I’m averaging lvl 28 on my guys but my next mission is lvl 36 and this seems to be an anima drought level.

What is the level of this mission? I’m still stuck on the level 24 one. I’m leveling up Meatball and Mikanikos to see if I have a chance with a full level 29 team.

There are quests that pop up called ‘Adventure Campaign Progress’ and what they REALLY do is remove the lower, easier quests and open up the harder quests with greater rewards.

The more of those you complete, the harder it will be for your troops to find success in their missions - at least not without taking a beating. Some people only focused on those and are now stuck as their lower leveled heroes cannot complete the missions.

The good news is even if they fail, they still get the XP just not the loot.

I’m noticed this very same thing on my Night Fae. My Kyrien is still rank 8 and I guess I’ll be staying there but I went to nine on my night Fay and wish I hadn’t.

I read (and that’s my fault for not verifying) that it gets more difficult every 4 levels - the article explicitly said 4, 8, 12, 16.

BUT I think they did the math wrong and in fact is 5, 9, 13, 16 (17?).

But at least adventurer quest 9 is tolerable. I’ve been able to advance but losing 3 of my XP quests hurts a lot.

Imagine those people on 10, 11, or 12 who have hit a massive wall and just have their heroes die over and over without any chance of loot.

To be fair i’m not sure you can get that high without having higher level toons on Kyrien. My Nightfae could… dreamweaver is op

Oh true, in my other posts, I mentioned that I rode out my main team on the XP quests until about level 36 before hitting adventure progress quest level 8.

Skyfoal is campaign mission. The difficulty of the mission in general is determine by your mission table campaign level. Higher campaign level, tougher mission.

If possible I would happily return the skyfoal to get back to the level 8 adventure progress.

Conversely the base level mission xp goes up. You get the base level xp even if you failed the mission. I’m now running 1200 xp mission in suicide mode on my lower level champions.

Yep at least the heroes still get XP on a mission wipe. Some people complain at the loss of the initial anima investment to start the quests but I’m not anima starved (no pun intended) so I don’t mind.
