A No Level Squish Server

Hi,
I’m trying to experience wow again from day 0 to the war within.
However with the level squish it makes this hard. I’m jumping in at dragonflight and 10-60 doing dragonflight. But what about all the other content? Last time I played was Pandaria. I also missed Wrath, but played Cat and Outlands.
I guess my plan will be an alt for every expansion via chrommy time. This just rings hollow especially with the world leveling system in place. It brings to mind Elder Scroll Oblivion. The world doesn’t feel alive like this. The danger and progression is gone. It feels like an on track carnival ride. Not to diminish the content at all, its all amazing. I’m trying to engage more with it all. I think the change could let each expansion shine. The classic servers seems to moving this direction?
The progression feels hollow as the expansions seems to just level with you.

Has anybody ever suggested a server like classic but without the squish?
A level 0 to 160? That’d be incredible in my opinion.
FFXIV still offers this in its native form. I think its great. I don’t think there is ever a way to engage with an expansion as when it’s current however.
Or a pre level squish server? A pre-shadowlands server?

Do people have ideas around this? Other topics already discussing this?
How do others achieve this? Has ever talked about something like this?

They don’t. The game is balanced around level 80, not around double that. They’d need to change talent system and every mob, plus no cross server gameplay.

You hit 70 in 3 zones, so it’s basically impossible. I maxed out character slots leveling through zones and I still haven’t gotten through all of them yet. Just make and level a new char once you reach 70.

Yes. They are Classic servers. They’re currently about to go to MoP Classic.

Or jump on anniversary and we’re headed to TBC in about 6 months lol

It’s literally not possible.

You would need to play classic.

You’re in luck, classic hasn’t been squished yet. Go run that for the story and leveling experience. Then come back to retail for the rest.

You can still experience the game thru traditional means. Turn your xp off at 68 and keep it off till you’re ready to ding 70. I started an alt from lvl 1 on a normal starting zone and leveled her through each expansion from start to finish until I was done in Dragonflight, then I hit 70 and finished up the rest of the material and then moved to the new stuff. I was 73 when I started in Khaz Algar and then dinged 80 shortly after. Easy peasy.
