A New Adventure Awaits. What?

I reached level 59, and Chromie said I was needed in the present. I am not sure what that means? To keep doing the Chromie Time Lines should I stop gaining experience? I want o finish all the Time Lines. But I don’t want to do that. Need some clarification here please.

You can still go do all the quests in all the zones. I don’t know if you can go back to her and turn it back on once you reach max level for it.

So, I should stop earning Experience and not click on the “A New Adventure awaits”. because I have not clicked on that. Makes me wonder what would happen if I keep earning experience and hit 60 without turning in “A New Adeventure awaits”?

it will kick you back to the main timeline automatically, if you want to finish up that expansion at level, you would need to turn off your xp gain.

Maybe Chromie is evil and has been pulling all the strings all along. But we wont find out till end of xpac.

You mean, she is the one pulling all our strings? And we dance for her enjoyment? She is an Evil little Bride of Chucky.

maybe chromie was secretly murozond all along, and thats why nozdormu can never see how he turns into murozond, because he -doesn’t-!!!
he can never find it, because he’s looking for the wrong thing.

I have not purchased Dragon Flight does that effect this?

It’s poorly explained, but the primary feature of Chromie Time is that it makes the game scale to your level. Chromie Time turns off at level 59 because you’re supposed to go do the current block of content- Dragonflight.

You’re certainly welcome to go run old content, but the scaling will no longer happen, because Blizzard’s bad at thinking these things out.

So, all the quests will be 30-40-50 and the loot will be 30-40-50. I have not purchased Dragon Flight. Waiting to see how it goes. I like how I can come to the Forum and find answers. Thank you

You can do all of that content outside of Chromie time.

The only difference is that you’ll outgear and outlevel it as you do it.

I would not freeze your XP unless engaging in the lore at an appropriate strength level is important to you.

Thank you. I have more than one toon. So, I can try leveling to 60. If I want, I can stop at 59 with another. Thank you for answering.

It will kick you out of Chromie time if you go back to your capital city. You will find it difficult to find content to complete your leveling to 60 if that happens. I would stay out of your capital city if you haven’t already done so, because grinding mobs in Revendreth for xp will be your fate if that happens.

When you go to the capital city once that quest appears, Chromie time will automatically turn off for you. Whether or not you used the scroll from the quest.

But you can just go talk to her again to resume Chromie time. The quest will appear in your log again but you can ignore it. When you go to the capital city again, it won’t automatically turn off Chromie time.

You can still enable/disable Chromie time like normal. Just don’t get to 60 because it most likely won’t work anymore. At least in Shadowlands, when you hit max level, she just teleported you to the city and turned off the level scaling regardless of what you were doing. Likely the same this expansion.
