Introduction: Blessings of the Light be upon you, fellow roleplayers. The Scarlet Enclave is now opening pre-launch recruitment for potential sub-officer and non-officer ranks! Our goal as an RP guild is to use Classic as a way to get a fresh start for many RP characters and ideas and, in a way, redeem the reputation that Scarlet roleplay has in retail WoW. To this end, the guilds officers are working nonstop to ensure that the quality of the guild, its storylines, and most importantly its roleplay are all top tier. With core members that have had leadership roles in many RP guilds Scarlet and otherwise, we have the experience and passion required. Now all we need is YOU!
Roleplay Style: The Scarlet Enclave will operate in a manner similar to more modern roleplaying guilds by way of short and long-term RP campaigns spread out across many days that incorporate D&D style roll-based combat and progression, character improvisation and growth, and a close interaction with the game world and its story as we progress through Vanilla and potentially beyond. As a general theme the Enclave will operate as a Medium-Heavy Military/Religious guild that will come to include uniforms and potential guild alliances and rivalries.
Story Overview: Founded by Lord Paladin Teralan Baast, a former Silver Hand veteran and member of the Scarlet Crusade’s upper hierarchy, the Scarlet Enclave of Stormwind exists out of a belief by “some” that long-term plans need to be enacted if the Scourge is ever to be truly beaten. As such, using his contacts with the Silver Hand in Stormwind as well as his own noble titles, Lord Baast has arranged a small cadre of junior officers to join him in recruiting locals from the Alliance, bettering the Crusade’s reputation in Alliance lands, and aiding them against the Undead until the time is right to join the greater Scarlet Crusade in Lordaeron.
For recruitment purposes we accept all Alliance races and semi-races such as Humans, Gnomes, Dwarves, and High Elves, but we do not accept Night Elves. All classes except full in-character Warlocks, Necromancers, and Shadow Priests of all kinds are also not allowed.
