this is a mining quest where you get 20 Platinum nuggets, I’ve had this quest for almost 2 months, it’s impossible to finish because I can’t find 20 platinum nodes. Tuesday morning after the reboot seems to be the only time I can find platinum. Mining is just broken, it was broken in the last version of the game too. you CAN’T mine enough platinum to craft anything that requires platinum. the only person who benefits from the current way mining works is a multi-boxer who can get 5x the ore for each node. he can make enough for just one person to craft one item.
Platinum is generally found at higher altitudes in my experience. Where are you mining?
I finished that quest months ago on my miner. Platinum is uncommon for sure but it does show up.
In terms of the fastest way to get the ore, the scrapper puts actual mining to shame. Get a plate character going and scrap gear, and you’ll have more platinum than you know what to do with.

I finished that quest a while back. It took me months to just get a few nuggets, then I decided to just run from WQ to WQ rather than take the flight point and I found a bunch of platinum and was able to complete the quest.
