Hello Korgath, how are you these days? It’s been awhile, you probably don’t remember me. My name is BLAR (yes, screaming it as loud as possible is the correct pronunciation). Since returning two months ago I’ve decided to make my old MoP raiding toon, my Monk, my main again. Her name is Chiaia (Pronunciation: Key-Aye-Ya. I also respond to CHEEEEEEEEE!) https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/character/us/korgath/chiaia Anyway, as you might expect from the title of this post I am seeking a guild as a home.
Sadly I cannot commit as much time as I used to towards raiding, so as much as I miss it, hardcore mythic raiding is probably not in my best interest. Unless a guild is laid back or willing to use me as a bench reserve player I probably will have to stick with raiding heroics. I do greatly enjoy M+ would love a guild with an active community pushing those high keys. The current M+ PUG life is taxing.
Anyway some quick history on me: due to a job overseas I sadly had to call it quits just before Tomb of Sargeras came out in Legion. But now I am back stateside and have a decent amount of free time again to play WoW. As far as my experience goes, I’ve raided in hardcore progression oriented guilds since the middle of the Burning Crusade. In each expansion (aside from Legion and BFA) I reached or defeated the last boss in the hardest difficulty while it was still current. Over the years I’ve raided as Rouge, Paladin, Shaman, and Monk. I’ve also held leadership roles in guild politics. Most recently I was the penultimate guild leader in <Re Lapse>, holding it together as long as I could before its eventual collapse after my overseas job started (Rest in Pepperoni). While I’m probably done with guild leadership for a while I have an innate fascination with making and tracking guild finances, loot, and other statistics via spreadsheets. I’m happy to do that for a new guild!
In terms of my role in the game, I love playing multi-role classes. Currently I enjoy both DPS and healing greatly and dabble in tanking when needed. I would say that I am great at DPS (WW) and healing (MW) and average at tanking (BM). In a guild group (raiding or M+) I’m willing to fill any of those roles as long as I have the chance to do the others from time to time.
I would like to find a guild where my personality and raid attitude would fit in. In game I tend to be a carefree player. I play WoW for the sole purpose of fun. In terms of in game actions this means I like to try silly things that bug-out the game. Unfortunately many of these just end up with me dying in spectacular ways. Even in the most intense moments of progression I will never get angry or annoyed at anyone. I’m the kind of guy who will still find the comedy in a 1% wipe even after days and days of wiping.
