They also said this,
Having the customization you desire would not be faithful, so it’s not looking too good for you.

Yeah, but this is a boosted character. I don’t remember that being in the original game which means that while this is a faithful recreation, as they said it was, they’re willing to do some things differently too to make the game more enjoyable for everyone!
Isn’t that great!
Yeah, they added some changes just like they said.
Mission accomplished.
#nomorechanges
Well, I know they added more changes after that which tells me they’re always willing to do more if enough players want it.
It’s great when Blizzard listens to what the players want. I love Holly Longdale! It’s so great she adopted the #SomeChanges mentality. It will make TBC everything I remember and more!
Some changes =| all changes.
Some or even most of your desires aren’t likely to make it.
Judging by their rate of changes since launch, it would actually seem fairly unlikely TBQH, since the only thing they’ve actually actively modified since launch has been PvP-related and the response to any and all of what they’ve done there has been mixed to disastrous.
Some changes won’t make it? Oh well! We can’t always get what we want. But we’ll sure try!
I can’t remember who said it, but I remember there’s a quote that says, “Nothing is inevitable until it happens.” Which means anything fairly unlikely could always happen. We just have to be patient and see what they do. And nudging them in the right direction couldn’t hurt either.
You’re not wrong. Blizzard could always make mistakes, they are prone to that, actually.
That’s why were here to voice our disapproval for such unneeded things, so Blizzard is aware that the development time would be wasted.
Everyone makes mistakes. But taking risks is what makes life exciting!
I approve of #SomeChanges and look forward to what Blizzard changes next!
Better texture resolution would be cool, tho the Vanilla models and animation are actually really cool, I like them a lot.
No, it really doesnt. Stop being intolerant.
We should be intolerant with changes to a Classic iteration of the game.
Unless you can give us a good enough reason as to why your change is absolutely necessary.
No.
#SomeChanges.
Playing the game is absolutely unnecessary. People play this game because it’s fun. So that’s why we ask for stuff.
Why should this change be included in some changes?
It’s some changes, not all.
This logic can be used to justify anything. Try again.
Because it’s wanted.
Not sure what this means. Auras asked for was name and sex change. That is two changes. How are two changes equal to all changes?
This logic can be used to justify anything fun. Sorry, had to complete your sentence there.
And yes, that’s exactly the point of playing a video-game. To have fun!
TBCC is different from a mainstream GAS product with active new content development.
It is a recreation project design to (as closely as possible) mimic a game that already…happened and went. The idea is that since once TBC ended, we essentially lost that game forever. So everyone who loved TBC for what it was…basically lost the game they paid for.
Until now. This is why it’s important that changes are minimized to things deemed absolutely necessary and non-confrontational to the original design of TBC.
Most changes thus far fall under that wing, and the ones that don’t (arena/pvp changes) have been massively criticized for being terrible for that aspect of the game.
The pvp situation is basically our mascot for why the less changes, the better. We’ve gone down this road before.
This is a good reason to get something added to Shadowlands, but not TBCC.
Would be strange for Draenei since hairstyle changes also change their head cosmetics as well. Although I guess you could fathom hairdresses are also performing some kind of facial reconstruction surgeries through arcane magic or something like that?
Because tbc is a 16 year old expansion maybe??
Huh? Explain.
So are a lot of things. That’s how we go from some changes to all changes.
Implementing a change with the justification that “it’s wanted” is an all changes philosophy because you can use that to justify any change.
Fun is subjective. Changing your race / gender might be fun for you. For others, transmog is fun. And others think LFD is fun.
So unless you can come up with better reasons, it shouldn’t and it won’t be added.
There’s a reason they’ve ignored these requests.
Nope. Because #SomeChanges.
No. It’s not.
So you argument is to list a bunch of things added to a game to make it fun and your conclusion is that they shouldn’t be added?
