Bad tanks speedracing almost made me want to quit the game yesterday.
Ive been playing since Vanilla.
I don’t like what dungeon runs have turned into. Period.
Do I want to mark all the trash and assign CC and spend an hour in a dungeon?
NO
Do I want to go so fast that we wipe 3 times and I don’t have time to loot corpses and skin beasts?
NO
Where did the middle go?
I just answered my own question. I’m going to go at the pace I want to. If I get kicked I get kicked.

sounds like a you issue.
you fell behind the player skill curve and now you struggle and instead of attempting to get better you get angry come to the forums instead of improving. maybe if you spent less times crying and moaning on the forums and improving your own gameplay you would do better

As people get their raider io up, this will be solved as the fast runners will be able to find other fast runners.
retail wow takes more skill the classic ever did. it requires you to be more mechanically skilled vs just dont stand in the small puddle in the corner and tank and spank of classic wow.

This thread is about no skilled KIDS who want to pull the entire dungeon in 1 pull and AOE it down so they get GET LOOT as fast as possible because the chemicals in our toxic foods have chemically castrated them and reduced their hormones to near 0 and their subsequent attention spans are less than 10 seconds.
You couldn’t play this game when it was hard.

You clearly have no clue what you’re talking about.
Whenever threads pop up about doing dungeons too quickly, the side that seems to be against going quickly is under the impression that those of us that are advocating for quick dungeon runs are advocating that tanks disregard their group. This has never been the case; what makes a good tank is someone who can set the correct pace.
There are two things you need to consider when pace setting:
- Can you survive?
If you’re yolo pulling and you can’t even live what you are pulling b/c you can’t budget defensives/use your active mit correctly, then you are failing your group. - Can your dps handle it?
If your dps are doing tank damage, you cannot pull aggressively. You need your dps to be killing things fast enough that those mobs aren’t going to start draining you of your resources.
If these two things are calibrated properly, then you are set to start slamming.

The “difficulty” back in the day was lack of information, and how long literally everything took to accomplish. Now that things occur quicker, and rewards come faster, there are other difficulties. Such as harsher mechanics in high stakes events, such as upper M+ tiers and mythic raiding.
And y’all wonder why nobody wants to tank your randoms?
