The stuff throughout Cata with Aggra got at least a little grating I’d say.
This kind of thing is why I’d be very reticent to take a management/executive position despite the paycheck, unless it were being the CEO of a company I privately own so I can make sure bad behavior gets extinguished before it becomes a wildfire without worrying about justifying myself to shareholders and the like. It’s a lot less troublesome to be a worker bee that keeps to himself.
Uhhhh what? That’s by far the strangest mental gymnastics to excuse sexism and predatory behavior that I’ve ever heard of.

Very excited to hear he is well enough to jump back in, even in an advisory role! I know he left for several different medical reasons and has had major surgery since.
Good wishes to him and I am excited to see what he has to offer!
Also, he is the only person at Blizz I would likely go fangirl over if I met them. Sorry everyone else.

I’m not going to crucify someone who didn’t get themselves fired for taking what would have been a radical stand against the accepted norm 20-30 years ago. If they guy didn’t do it, didn’t know about it, or did everything that was standard at the time to deal with it when it cropped up, it’s completely unwarranted to rake him over the coals for not being the product of a culture that wouldn’t exist for decades into the future.

This time, however: if you happen to notice behavior in the workplace (whether merely unethical or patently illegal) that creates a toxic and exclusive work environment, that silences victims, and that derails the careers of dedicated creators, maybe – just maybe – do something about it this time.
You have a built a colossal legacy and reputation for telling stories about heroism in the face of evil. Show us why those stories are worth telling.
