Shame. None of them should be allowed back.

And why is that? Do explain with good reasoning why they shouldn’t be welcomed back. I think what you need to realize is that people who are upset about this, such as you seem to be, are the same kinds of people who are hypocritical in all of their judgements on others. Tell me, are you without sin? And that being said if you were caught in your mistakes would you own up to it and take full responsibility for it OR would you sweep it under the rug quietly as to avoid punishment. I think it’d be the later.

Lol. I don’t owe you anything, troll. Gone to the ignore list you go.

nobody cares

If you can’t take the truth, ignore ignore ignore. That fixes everything rather than taking on the questions and answering them. But you did a wonderful job of proving my point so I thank you for that.

Welcome back Chris! Cheers!

It’s almost as if you don’t realize that he didn’t have the power you think he did.

How did you drag him back into the office? blizz in dire need of help it looks.

As of 2020 Blizzard had over 9000 employees. Chris Metzen was a creative director. Investigating employees was not his responsibility, and investigating employees outside his department could have easily gotten him fired. If you know anything about hard corporate environments the answer to these kinds of situations is always, “Report it to HR, it’s their job, not yours.”

He could quite easily have had no idea what was going on considering communication difficulties happen all the time in massive multi-national companies.

Of course the real question in all this is who was responsible for staffing and managing HR. Because it’s not at all unusual for that kind of service to be managed and micromanaged by a parent company. And I would not at all be shocked to discover that the HR department managed by the parent company Bobby Kotick is in charge of behaves like Bobby Kotick.

Dragonflight really is a homecoming, the heart and soul of the game has been renewed.

Welcome Back Warchief!

I see where your coming from but I have to push back. It wasn’t a mistake. It was a common fantasy trope going back 70+ years in Dungeons and Dragons and Flash Gordon before it. Look up Red Sonia’s attire for battle.

People really need to stop judging the past with today’s ‘values’. They aren’t any better, tend to be equally dubious and control oriented at best, and are most of the time intellectually dishonest statements.

I say that only because “today’s people” typically can’t admit when their wrong, and use unhinged emotion and histrionic displays to argue instead of logic and rationale. Oh and there’s also the fact that they almost always have to have the final word (along with some ridiculous underpinned threat or insult if they don’t get their way afterwards).

People should address their own problems instead of passing judgment on others.

Well, hopefully he isn’t treated like George Lucas. Disney messed up Star Wars by leaving out his ideas for a Ruin Johnson and Darthleen Kennedy reshape which was dumb.

I felt sorry for JJ Abrams. He gave a good building plot in the 1st movie and had to try and clean their messes up in the third movie, smh.

I’m still sold on my world that this is just a massive PR stunt. His name still carries weight/clout and now Blizzard can slap him in front of cameras, have him do interviews, put his name on stuff, and just generally hype up his image while paying lip service to his “ideas”. Like I would LOVE to know what the actual job descriptions/duties of a “Creative Advisor”. Like walk me through the day to day, 1st month, 1st quarter, and 1st year tasks/milestones/goals.
