Let’s not forget we had a whole raid beating Gul’dan before Illidan showed up to kill steal.

When you think about it, a raid group is just a legion of murder hobos.
still, he was one shotted by a demon hunter in a very weakened state.
and do you know who beat him in his strongest state while that said person was weaker than the last time they met?

Gul’dan was beaten by a Raid. 20 VS 1. Before Illidan showed up.
Illidan wasn’t weakened at all. He was at his peak. Gul’dan was literally preparing his body to be possessed by Sargeras when Khadgar popped his soul back in place. Gul’dan would not give Sargeras a weakened body.
Still, for all of his bravado, ya think he would of stopped toying around and just use a massive explosion to knock everyone off a cliff.
I mean us hunters do that and it works!
That’s not how it works.
The WoW Player murder hobo riot always wins.
Whatever Gul’dan tries, the Raid will find a way to stop it.
If he had tried to cause a gigantic explosion, we would have found a way to teleport into the sky (possibly with Occuleth’s help) and avoid harm.
Let’s not forget Illidan was beaten by a similar group in tBC. And he wasn’t even busy at the time, unlike Gul’dan, who was multitasking (trying to summon Sargeras into Illidan’s corpse while fighting).
It’s oddly similar to Vengeance meta form. I guess demon hunters took that too.
Demon Hunters are a blight upon this world.
