Anyone having issues with this BFA quest? I’m unable to gather all 25 Glow flies as each group only awards 1 (Even though there are 3-4 per group) and even after they respawn if I attempt to collect the same group it doesn’t award progress towards to the quest. As this is part of the Nazmir main questline I’m unable to progress any further through the story

i restarted wow and was able to prgress further

Ran into this issue today and restarting WoW fixed it for me as well.
Seems like the issue is two-fold in that it’s only giving credit for 1 glowfly out of the 3-4 you capture each time, and respawns don’t count towards it unless you restart the client.

Having this issue right now. Restarted both the quest and the game, didn’t help. I have tried to collect every single group of glowfiles I can find at least twice. For me the count stops at 19-21 without fail.

Only getting 20-21 also, I just abandoned the quest and logged out completely to see if it helps, but still not working.

Also stuck on this quest.
When did they make it crazy hard to open a ticket for assistance? Did they lay off the GMs or something?
I restarted the quest only got 20 so I log out of the game,log back in got to complete the quest.

After not playing Wow for a while I was also surprised how hard they’ve made it to simply open a ticket

I was having this issue as well. I tried over and over and nothing seemed to work. Until I switched war mode on. I collected as many glowflies as I could then switched to war mode and I was able to collect the rest. Hope this helps someone!!!

Update I was able to finish the quest after a few days of not logging into the char doing the quest, I mad the rounds collecting bugs they still only counted as 1 per batch but I was able to collect batches I had already done a few days prior.
Can confirm that this quest is still bugged today

Yup. Still bugged. And its campaign quest so it just stops you dead on that character. Awesome response time too. Whats it been? Over a month? Cant wait to play this character again in 2025
I was able to finish it after a reset.
Try again after maintenance.
Everytime I killed the Big elite pig named “Lo’Kuno” I was able to collect one group of glowflies, Only one group however, you have to wait for him to respawn.
EDIT - nvm just spam restart your game until it works

I also had to do what Fengxi said but had to be on the edge of the glowflies to be able to catch 1, also do not skyride I did this once and could not catch any!.
Back to being bugged again or still bugged lol, I was able to finish the quest on another char a couple weeks ago but now I’m running different char through BFA. Guess I’ll try after Thursdays maint or wait till Tuesdays maint.
I too, am having this issue. No amount of restarting or doing other quests/defeating other mobs and coming back is helping. There’s scheduled maintenance in a few hours so I’m hoping this gets fixed.
