Much more common in arena I’d wager since it’s a lot easier to control the outcome.
I’m curious as well. Yesterday in an EOTS a disc priest capped the flag while we had two towers. In the next game, his another disc priest alt grabbed the flag and refused to pass it to our MW monk.
I checked his profile, wow he has over 50 level 80 chars, all fully geared with very high Blitz and Shuffle ratings. It looks like he makes a living by selling PvP ratings.
Blizzard does nothing about it, so its basically legal. The rules are only there to keep honest players from getting in on the action. And with a useless in game report system in place, Blizzards hands are clean.
I’m playing 8 characters in Blitz and Epics, I deleted a couple extra 80’s because there’s no way I could grind all of them.
Even full time, they must abandon some alts once they reach certain rating so they can farm people in placement games and faster queues in lower ratings.
I was in a 1500 one with healers that threw. They sat at LH whole match . Did no healing
I feel bad for players still queueing, wait 30 min to get into a game thats just a queue sync premade vs Pug getting farmed. I think we are all seeing the results, massive player participation dropoff, and a DEAD pvp season.
I believe its intentional and by design, Blizzard spends all their resources on dungeons and raids, they dont want you in pvp, they want you buying wow tokens and buying PvE carries for gold. One glance at trade chat says it all lol.
How come so many? For the mogs?
Yea, trying to get 1800 for the classic mogs and elite.
I’ll push during christmas break!
The last time I played more than one character in rated was in MoP where I got 5 to 1900 in rbgs.
Hey Celinthia, I remember you for your support back when I posted a similar topic.
For those new, it was even confirmed that the paid services on various sites will offer ranking in BG blitz, letting YOU play your toon and they will carry you. This should be impossible, but no, it’s happening, because of queue syncing/win trading.
If you see 8+ people from one single server in a match, and they’re split between both teams, expect a win trade to happen.
Been a week back or so but Supa on youtube made a video where he mentioned the win trading and queue sync boosting.
I had a deephaul tonight where an aff lock finished with 25M damage total when everyone else was 70-100M or so, and a lock on their team was over 120M. We lost and several ppl called him out for tanking it hard. To me it felt like a win trader. This was at 2200MMR, so it’s not like he could’ve been a new player.
See this is where your line of thinking is flawed. 2200 is well within the mmr where players that have no idea how to play can get carried to with like 3 wins in a row. Iv had people at 2900 that don’t know what off carts are on silvershard.
They sell “pilots”. They aren’t queue synching.
No one takes any of you seriously because you can’t differentiate between the two.
If I were to buy rating, I would buy 3v3 rating.
What’s the point of the other brackets?
They don’t only do “pilots” being dishonest really doesn’t help your case.
No one take you seriously when you have to lie.
You are asking too much of Blizzard. Enjoy your terrible matchmaking littered with players like this.
Agreed, the queue sync win trading in solo brackets started in the beginning of Dragonflight with solo shuffle. An expansion later the loopholes in the system for exploiting remain still. But aside from the the rapid advancements of BOT tech, Blizzard seemingly just cant keep up. Thats why they created the in game report system, so they could pass that responsibility onto the player base. And the results are clear, huge growth in 3rd party websites and monetization of in game goods.
Player participation numbers posted in a recent Bellular video state War Within started less players than season 3 of Dragonflight, and dropping fast. In short, were in for low participation and hard times in wow. NEW PvP map is coming, it will be fun getting power farmed by boosters on it.
I genuinely cannot tell if I am fighting with and against players/bots.
or if it is like random bg and I keep rolling natural one for comrades.
AAA gaming companies are more focused on Policing players words, than dealing w actual in game problems like class balance, Botting, and exploiting. EU forums say the same things about the rampant win trading and exploiting in Solo brackets.
Example, Riot games League of Legends just changed their ToS, now anything you say outside of the game in RL can have you removed from their games. AccolonnTV on youtube just made a video about it. Just an example but tells you what the corporate board room meetings are focused on.
I dont mean to derail the thread from the original topic much. Just wanted to say, I feel like spec balance is actually pretty good for once.
