[A] Looking for mythic raiders for the Mythic Misfits raid team

Hey! This is Araulura from the Salty Sea Doggos. Last tier our guild had some success in Mythic Uldir, going 2/8 and having fun testing the mythic waters. Our guild is not doing any official mythic raiding in Battle of Dazar’alor. However, there are still quite a few who have interest in doing mythic content. I can’t help but think that we aren’t the only ones in a situation like this. That is how we came up with the idea of the Mythic Misfits.

This is a raid team (not a guild) that will raid Friday nights from 8:30 - 11:30 server time. The goal is to see just how many bosses we can kill on a casual schedule.

Given the nature of this raid, you are not going to be turned down because of your class or spec. However, understand that because of the limited time we have to raid, there must be some flexibility. (Ex: you would really like to heal but we have six healers and only two ranged DPS. You would likely be asked to swap).

WHO THIS IS FOR

  • People who have a positive attitude and desire to improve their personal performance

  • People who are in successful Heroic raiding guilds but desire an even greater challenge

  • People who have a limited time for raiding still want to tackle challenging content

  • People who will put in effort outside of scheduled raid times to keep their characters up to date

  • People who will come prepared to raid each week

WHO THIS IS NOT FOR

  • People who want to full clear and get Cutting Edge (Simply not possible on a three hour schedule)

  • People who expect fast, easy progression (Again, not possible on such a casual schedule)

  • People who expect to be carried for free loot

  • People who cannot take criticism and correct errors

The goal is to give people the opportunity to experience some of the most exciting and challenging content in the game without having to transfer guilds or transfer servers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • AOTC

  • Ilvl 400

  • HoA level 38 (unlocks three rings of mythic Azerite gear)

  • A history of good performance in Heroic BoD

  • DBM or Big Wigs addon

  • Angry Assignments addon

TIME FRAME

The first raid is tentatively scheduled for the first Friday in March (3/1/19). This should give people enough time to clear heroic, get some gear, and level up their Heart of Azeroth.
