A look at the future of the Forsaken - Support For Calia ♕

That’s an alt

I think there is a lot of rich history surrounding Lordaeron that Blizzard could pull into the light if they give Calia a chance. She genuinely cares about the Forsaken, as represented in the novel “Before the Storm” and wants to understand their culture/way of life.

I have to say though, Sylvanas is a great character. Her story is amazing and we’ve had the opportunity to learn so much about her backstory over the years. I’m grateful for that. I’m happy that we got so much time to get to know her. That being said, even great characters witness the sunset. It’s time to close the chapter on the Forsaken being led by the Dark Lady.

Calia brings in an intriguing perspective since she personally knew many of the people that fell during the Third War. I think it will be interesting to see where that takes the Forsaken when it comes to their place within the Horde. If we look back, the Forsaken actually sought out the Alliance first. Diplomats were sent to Stormwind…only to be assassinated–which obviously meant the Alliance said “nope.” With Calia though, the doors could be opened to political interaction between the Forsaken and the Alliance. Anduin Wrynn has good relations with Calia, even regarding her as a friend.

I hope the right decisions can be made and Calia gets a chance.

I’m team Calia! For Lordaeron!

Estella? Nope, not my alt. We can easily both log online, and talk in voice chat in our ingame accounts. Estella is a long standing member of the community and is known to many.

Although I don’t have much in the way to add to the conversation, as so much has been said already, I will say that adding to the community some good story development NEVER takes anything away from anyone else. We all benefit by the world being bigger, more alive (heh), and vibrant.

They explained that. She moved to Southshore after surviving the fall of Lordaeron, she lay in a ditch covered by corpses and was really traumatized by the experience. Eventually she made her way home to her husband and child. She tried living with her husband and kid until the undead attacked Southshore. She got lost and was discovered by Faol. He protected her and introduced her to the priest class and worked with her to get back to a place where she can begin to move passed her trauma. I really wish they showed this in the game and have her explain her story.

None of the people in support of Calia leading the forsaken are even forsaken mains. You are all either Alliance or annoying mudhut orc players. Imagine having the gall to pretend you’ve spent years playing forsaken and getting invested in their story and that you unironically think a Light Forged forsaken leading the race is the proper way forward. You “people” are disgusting hypocrites and you don’t deserve genuine debate when you’re speaking from a false pretense to begin with.

Wrong. Your post is little more than a mean spirited post that brings nothing of value to this conversation.

“wrong”. You aren’t fooling anyone. And you’re right. I did make a mean spirited post. And I’m gonna make a whole lot more, too.

You can look up the achievements on our characters and see these are long standing active characters.

Don’t care, didn’t ask. You can say you’re a forsaken main all you want, but I reject that. Calia is an alliance character introduced in a book where she spent the entire time talking to Anduin. Even her method of resurrection is anti-thetical to the Forsaken. I will never accept this albatross as race leader, ever. And Forsaken players are nearly universal in that opinion. Alliance simps like you should have no say in the matter.

Meanwhile…here is my played time on my forsaken main. Over 848 days of game time…

You can spend a hundred years on that character and I still wont’ consider you a forsaken main.

Good thing I don’t need your approval.

What it adds is that it illuminates the fact that this will go over about as well as the war of thorns. A big tree was a huge part of Nelf identity. An edgy, kinda evil race was a huge part of undead identity.

Cope. You’re one of maybe five people who play forsaken who want Calia. You’re in a tiny minority and all the people who agree with you are alliance mains. If blizzard goes through with this moronic storyline then they’ll be universally condemned for yet another stupid story development in a long line of stupid story developments. And yes, you do need my approval. Not a forsaken main.

Imagine getting on the forums to tell someone what they are or aren’t. :upside_down_face:

Imagine getting on an alt to try and win an argument. Good job making the profile private so I can’t see how the achievement dates match.

I main Forsaken, and I don’t see the problem deviating from the norm for the race as a whole. Sylvanas is gone, which gives an opportunity for something new to rise. I’d prefer to have a Menethil back to mix things up a bit. We’re past being excessively evil, for the time being, so it’d be nice to try a different dynamic for a change.

Meanwhile, all people you claim are “alts” are known people in the Forsaken rp community who chill in voice chat and moderate different groups and guilds. It is very telling that you need to resort to insults and conspiracies to try and invalid other’s opinions.

RPers usually have the WORST lore opinions I’ve ever read. So saying that the people who disagree with me are prominent RPers tracks pretty well with my preconceptions.
