I don’t get why people on this game need to know what gender someone is in real life or what they look like… I mean not all of us play to date people and I also don’t get why guys consistently ask me how much I weigh too… I just started this game a few months ago and it’s so annoying. I block them and it seems like they’re all the same.

You’re right … I’ve noticed alot of girls on here do ANYTHING for attention from eboys.
It’s how it’s always been.
In chat rooms (yeah. The age is showing 
) it used to be “a/s/l” lol.
Since MMORPG’s are basically Chat with Attitude, some things never change.

Even if there’s a certain level of debauchery going on, you have incredible control over it. You have ignore functions, you have the option to join a friendly/casual guild which are usually dedicated to keeping the peace among their members and you ultimately have control over who you group/party with for the most part. If you feel like there’s an abusive person in group, you can use the report functions.
I mean, it’s rude to behave that way, I get it but the internet is a tough place. You’re going to get a lot of that kind of behavior until you decide your level of involvement on controlling it firsthand.

Is it your guildies? don’t join trade chat or auto-invite guilds, they have nothing to do so they just flirt around or talk about politic in gchat.
Knock on wood, but for 15 years I’ve only played female characters and I’ve only been hit on once. I think I’ve just been very lucky. I’m sure it doesn’t hurt that a lot of them have been undead.

Horde side I play belves, trolls, and NB, and I’ve had very few whispers like that if any.
Don’t share with ppl you don’t know well that you are a women irl and you won’t get hassled. It’s really no ones business.

ACTUALLY, I’m not seeking attention from eboys in this thread. I just wanted to vent to anyone.
I think you are wasting a TREMENDOUS opportunity. Instead of looking at it being tormented, find a way to have fun with them within the guidelines of the ToS. I don’t want you to catch a suspension or a silence, however that does not mean you cannot have a little fun at their stupidity.
Get creative. If nothing else, you will get a ton of laughs out of it.
Unfortunately, the anonymity of the internet emboldens these kinds of individuals. No matter what game you play, a female toon this is going to most likely happen. So might as well have some personal entertainment at their expense along the way.

I hit on the smexies quite a bit… nothing really but a passing compliment. I don’t usually stick around…
But… I’ve only ever received positive responses from it.
