Tutorial quest after quest after quest at 60 and I am pretty overwhelmed. How do you prioritize this stuff? Dare I say there is too much to do? I feel like I have a full-time job just with trying to do daily stuff, then there is Torghast I guess I need for the legendary thing, then upgrading my sanctum, my renown with those abilities, then Maw dailies…on top of that I am supposed to find time to run dungeons and raids too?
Am I looking at this the wrong way? I feel like I am being pulled in 10 different directions.
P.S. Not complaining, enjoying the expansion, just ^^^^
Just take a deep breath…and remember that you will learn all of it and understand how all of it works much sooner than you think.
Prioritize your goals. If you need your legendary like the second it’s available, then focus on Maw dailies and Torghast first. Look up your legendaries and make that content your priority.
There is a LOT to do in SL, but most of it is optional or not very time-sensitive.
Torghast and legendary mats are kind of on the top of hard chargers’ lists. Gearing up for the raid or for M+ by doing M0’s is another big one for people.
Most of the covenant upgrades are flavor more than function, so focus on renown and your conduits before worrying about your upgrades. The only one you should try to get going is the mission table because you can set that and forget it, and it will have some useful stuff in it before long.
Learn one thing at a time. Don’t try to learn it all at once. Figure out what your own top priorities are and focus on that. The rest will come.
I may not have articulated it, but none of it is hard, it is just a lot and I do not know what to prioritize. I don’t have hours per day to invest in all of these things.
So far I have gotten a hunter to 60. There is a lot I want to do but just chipping away slowly but surely. We will be in Shadowlands probably close to two years so I’m in no hurry.
You did fine. I totally get you. I have the privilege of being at home all the time right now, so I can play as many hours as I can maintain consciousness if I want to, but it was still overwhelming.
Break it into chewable pieces. That’s how I approach everything. Hope you find a groove that works.
agree, i play 2/3 hours per day but thats nothing, you need at least 9 hours per day to grind some ilvl , this game is just too hard, raids start on 8 and i dont know how im going to get 180 ilvl , torghast lvl 4 and everything expected to raid…my god, WoD at least was a little bit helpfull at the very start, now the game is impossible
just goggle your class and “SL guide wowhead” and you will get to a pretty detailed write up on SL as it pertains to your class. From there they explain pretty much everything you need to know to get started.
Yeah I feel you. When I dinged 60 I was way stressed out.
I prioritized doing the stuff in my covenant, the quests and the soulbind. After that I decided to do some Torgust and dungeons. I just realized I’ve been neglecting the Maw but to be honest I don’t really care. When I was in BFA I rushed to complete everything and it just left me sitting around at the end of patches. So now I just do what I want and if I miss something I’ll have time to get it later. Good Luck!
