Irregular Hires is a thriving guild on Moon Guard, looking for honest folk for (usually) honest work who don’t seem to fit in anywhere else. No prerequisites of being from a certain area or being a certain type of person, all are welcome to check out the job posting board, connect with fellow Irregulars, and make some coin while going on adventures for artifacts, escorting little known nobles, or even just catching up with some dice and drinks.
On an OOC level, Irregular Hires seeks to help people find roleplay connections with a wide variety of characters. Any character can fit in here, as long as they aren’t actively trying to undermine society, enjoy stabbing folks, or trying to take over the world. We aim to give players roleplay opportunities by posting various ‘jobs’ on our discord, where you can leap into the story with a friend and fellow guildmates, with or without a DM, though we do plan on weekly DM’d events using the conquest20 system when combat happens. (No worries if you don’t know it, we will help!) We are LGBTQ+ friendly, of course, and welcome a diverse group of people, but we do ask that you be at least 18 to join us.
Along with guild events, we want to give players the chance to further their own personal storylines, should they have one! We aren’t just about jobs, we are also about writing wonderful stories with wonderful people who want to see their characters grow.
