How the hell do i get this quest …
Wowhead says little and comments in it are confusing, one says it is available when Clues abound is up " which it is today" another says you get it from Sir Finley located in the overflow but I found SF in town not the overflow
Then it says u need a waterloged scroll case which u can get when clues abound it up but then the next post says U need to be on Historical Mess you get the case…
Sir Finley will follow you around when you are on the original quest, “Clues Abound”. Wowhead mentions him being in the Overflow because that is often where people are when they turn int he quest to him.
There are 3 clues you can find while on the quest. Which one you find first determines your follow up quest.
For “A Historical Mess” you have to find Old Parchment in a Waterlogged Scroll Case before you find any of the others. The Wowhead page shows where they are:
If you look in a Dirt Pile or Hearthstone Card first you will start one of the other subquests.
Thanks for the info , I think I follow , last time I had Clues Abound , I also did the hearthstone one , so i assume next time look for the historical Mess scroll instead?
