I thought I would post a bit of my story about pet battling. I started playing a few months before Wrath came out. So when pet battles came out I dabbled and through the years kept dabbling. Just enough to get most of the cageable pets basically. A few drops here and there and of course every shop pet.
Last year during the anniversary event is when I got serious about them. Especially since Squirt was up all the time. At that time I believe I had around 900 pets. I leveled every pet that wasn’t already, which was around half, during that month. During and after that I did a bunch of research and found Xu-Fu’s site and a couple others. They helped me understand how pet battles work. So Thank you!!
So through the last year I have tried to get every pet I didn’t already have, and now I have 1876 so I’ve doubled my pet count in this last year. I’ve went through and completed all the dungeons and the Celestial Tournament. Which I had tried here and there but didn’t really understand how it worked until I did some research. Now some days I will go and do every pet battle daily there is from Legion to TWW to get the pet charms. Still trying to get a few pets with those and 10k pet from SL.
Now all that was to say my engagement in pet battling has considerably gone up. I know they say they are working on “reiterating” how pet battles work but I’m hoping they don’t completely gut them. Please Blizz don’t make them unrecognizable as pet battles!!
