A handful of useful macros for Retribution Paladins, as of Shadowlands 9.1

Hello dear fellow Ret Paladins! I have been testing and revising some macros for us, and I think they are sufficiently awesome now :smiley: . I hope you can find them useful too:

  1. Prevent accidental Avenging Wrath cast during Arena preparation

/cast Avenging Wrath

Out of combat, this macro will prevent unintended AW cast (from mis-pressing the key), unless you are targeting someone unfriendly.

When blocking AW cast, the macro will show the icon and tooltip of Art of War. You can use any passive, non-castable spell in lieu.

  1. Divine Shield, Righteous Retreat, and Blessing of Protection

Click it once: Divine Shield (“the bubble”).

Click it twice: Divine Shield and then (accelerated) Kyrian Hearthstone. If you use a Hearthstone with the bubble, the bubble’s hidden effect, Righteous Retreat, will trigger, shortening the Hearthstone cast from 10 secs to 5 secs. You can use any other Covenant Hearthstone in lieu.

Click it while holding Alt: Blessing of Protection (auto self-cast if you are targeting someone unfriendly).

Right-click it with mouse: Remove any buffs of Divine Shield or Blessing of Protection on you (useful when tanking).

  1. Word of Glory, auto-self cast if you are targeting someone unfriendly

  1. Hammer of Justice with mouseover

If you are hovering your mouse over someone hostile, the macro will stun it with HoJ. Else it will try to stun your current target.
