The mission of Halcyon Days is to establish and maintain a friendly, casual environment where both new and experienced players can work together to promote a positive, welcoming, and carefree experience.
Our guild is for those who choose to experience the game their own way. We don’t claim to be the best at our class, we don’t claim to know the quickest way to run an instance, and we will be the last people to tell you you’re playing the game “the wrong way”.
We are not out to be the best. We only wish to create the best experience. This is a community of players, all who have experienced the original game in their own, unique way, hoping to recreate those experiences with one another while aiming to reintroduce the original atmosphere of World of Warcraft.
We welcome players of all skill levels, and we are here to offer advice and assistance to anyone that seeks it. We do not discriminate, and we do not judge.
Our goal is to work together to create a memorable, enjoyable experience, the same way you did when you first began your journey back in 2004.
Note: Since we are a brand-new guild, we aren’t focused on raiding at this time. However, if our member count grows to a large enough amount to where we can schedule consistent runs, we plan to incorporate a formal raiding schedule. Our planned loot system is Suicide Kings. We plan to refine this system to accommodate increases in Guild population and number of instances/raids run per week.
We joke and say that we’re not interested in the things the majority of most players are interested in. We suppose there’s some truth in that, however. We’re just here to play the game and have fun.
