I’ve killed Rolly 5 times and do not get credit for killing him. Nor do I see any Bubble-eyed Rollys to catch. I’ve abandoned the quest twice and it doesn’t make a difference. Nor does turning off my add-ons, emptying my cache, and multiple relogs.

Yes I came to report this as well.
I even turned off all my addons and after 5 times nothing. Dropped the quest and picked it up again, still no credit.
A whole bunch of horde repeatedly attacking as well so I doubt they are getting credit either.

I have killed him 5 times as well and nothing!
I’m in the same boat. I have killed this mob multiple times, re-logged, dropped the quest and restarted. Nothing works.
Kill him while youre in the water, that worked for me.

Same. Killed him seven times. Been first to tag. Last to hit. In the water. Out of water. Nothing is happening.
No credit here, either.

Finally got credit after I made sure the elemental was still near where he spawns when he died. Not sure if that actually had any effect, though.
Killed him right on his spawn, in the water, no credit.
I tried 3 times in the water and it didn’t work for me.
Were you by any chance the only one to tag it ?
Nope abandoned the quest and tried again - he turns friendly just as he dies and no credit.
It is impossible to control what other people do there -so I have never been able to get a solo tag or all the people tagging in the water either for that matter
I just got credit. I /shoo’d away the nearby alliance. I swapped from prot to ret to get a faster kill to assure I stayed alone. I was in the water, and I was the only person that tagged it. I’m guessing you have to be the only person tagging the mob to get credit.
I just got it standing right in the water here - horde tagged first and there were three of them. Could be they also fixed it.
I just tried in the this same spot, got first tag and almost solo’d it. Still no credit.
Same here. Killed 3 times so far, no quest credit. No quest fish caught either.
This sounds a little odd but I was in a party with my friend (across the zone) when I got it and he just went and did it and I was half way across the zone doing something else and he never had a problem completing it.
Same issue. Can’t catch any of the bubble-eyed rollies or get credit for killing the rolly gulpey
Same issues here.
I tried a few times and had this same issue, but both kills on 2 characters came when everyone was in the water.
Seems like they made it that way only unless it is a bug, like if it goes on land it resets because it has to drop the fish into the water, only if someone is on land it also triggers the reset in error.
